I'm really thinking Wand is going to TKO Leben brutally. Leben's chin has endured so much damage that I feel like he's gonna go downhill like Liddell did sooner than later. Leben's standup style is predicated on the take one, two, or three to give one. Every opponent of his lands power shots right on the button. I think this is one of the easier matchups Wand can have, since he'll be able to make his free shot count more than every opponent Leben has encountered other than Anderson Silva. We'll see though.

Shogun's wrestling sucks and Forrest's top game BJJ is very underrated. Plus, he is a humungous LHW and when has Shogun not gassed in a grappling contest?

Personally, I think Bisping beats Mayhem fairly easily, since Mayhem will likely have fun in there and look to stand and trade with the pillowfisted Bisping. He'll lose on points. Plus, if he does get a a takedown or two, Bisping will be right back up

I think Leben takes it. Im not going to assume his chin is gone because of one KO in which he took an insane amount of shots before he fell. Thats like saying Rampages chin was gone after Wand KOed him. Not the case. You could be right, but its a real stretch. Leben by KO for me. He wins slugfests.

I never said heavy favorite. I said favorite even if the line started at -110.

Javier Vazquez could be an underdog and defeat Joe Stevenson.

Yes. Please go heavy on Barry so the line improves on Kongo again.

His chin isn't gone, but he's not unfinishable and Wand probably hits as hard as any 185LB fighter. Leben always takes shots from his opponents. So, I think, when Wand gets his shots, they are gonna send Leben reeling moreso than punches he's ate before and come back from.

I dunno, Wand has lost a lot of power in his punches over the last few years.. but he still loves to slug it out. The last guy he put to sleep was Glass Jaw-dine and the last KO he got before that was back in 2006. There is understandably a lot of love for Wand and I think that's the reason he's the fav here in addition to fighting a higher level of opponents. Leben looked bad against Stann, but I truly believe that he was sick in that fight. I read reports about him throwing up backstage, etc. which can have a huge impact on fight night. He looked out of it from the first round. I think Leben rebounds here and either TKO's Wand or wins a UD. I actually really like the value in Leben by DEC at +528 so I'm making that play in addition to Leben straight up at +160. The layoff for Wand also worries me... the guy hasn't fought in well over a year and I tend to fade those guys unless they're young.

Don't get me wrong, originally I liked Leben as the value play. But when I got to thinking about the styles, Leben is way more hittable. If this is a punch for punch encounter, I like Wand, simply because Leben always takes power shots from his opponents before he lands his own. Power is the last thing to go. Dan Henderson and Rampage talked about how hard Wand hits. I don't think Leben will be able to eat Wand power shots. Think of some of Leben's best UFC wins. Sakara, Martin, Akiyama. All of them rocked him before he came back and won. I just have my doubts he can eat what Wand throws.

i really cant see leben winning. he was really impressive during his recent win streak but his most recent loss reminds me why he's always been middle tier.

Mauricio Rua should beat forrest. Either way it will be a good fight.

Rick Story is definitely a favorite on all the books.
I miscalculated that fight and he should not count as an underdog pick.
