I could be wrong but I don't think he is a troll. I think he exaggerates a fair bit, but from what I have seen thus far he has been picking a high percentage of winners. Most of those those winners were considerable favorites but not all.

Assuming he isn't a troll, if he starts betting straight up or round robin he'd actually be making some good coin.
