i do think mayweather wins but i can see ortiz having his moments.mayweather had a long lay off and ortiz just had the biggest win of his life.

Some of the comments here are facepalm worthy. Pacquiao is already fighting Marquez in November, so what would people rather have Mayweather do until then? Not fight? Take on a Klitschko? Victor Ortiz is the #2 ranked welterweight on boxrec. He just won what many people consider the fight of the year, and he has an entertaining style.

There is no better announcement that Mayweather could make right now than this fight. It is a big fight and with Ortiz's style it should be an entertaining one as well.

Also, being that Ortiz is a lefty fighter, I think this is a good warm up for the Pacroid fight in 2012.

Good point, in fairness though, Mosley is a bigger name then Ortiz. But I dont think Mayweather will get over the million mark with this one, but what the heck do i know
