Interesting fight for sure. Diaz possesses a very balanced arsenal of weapons, but I don't give him more than a punchers chance against GSP. GSP is too patient and Diaz is too reckless. One thing is for sure though, the way Diaz pushes the pace of the fights he's in I think that GSP will have to stop Diaz in order to win this match up. That could be good for the fans!Comment -

I agree I give him a little bit better than a punchers chance since he is well rounded both standing and on the ground, but do you think there might be a stoppage finally for GSP? Or do you have it going to the judges? I think GSP will have to get a stoppage in a 5 round fight with Diaz, because I think Diaz will get frustrated at some point leading to some sloppy hay-makers. I just think GSP is too good at everything to lose to a hot head like Diaz, but like you said a fighter like Diaz can win against anyone on the right day under the right circumstances.Comment -
I think it goes to the judges. St-Pierre's jiu-jitsu is a little clunky so I can't imagine him tapping Diaz. As for a T/KO finish? Very unlikely. Diaz's chin is fantastic, and his ability to recover is even better. You can crack him, drop him, but the moment he hits the deck he's straight back in the fight. GSP would essentially have to do what Jeremy Jackson did: unload with a chain-gun flurry of punches until the referee stepped in. I don't see that happening.Originally posted by FindTheLockComment -

Paul Daley. A better striker than anyone GSP has fought...get his balls out of your mouth. Diaz has three ways to win the fight. GSP has one, and that's lay n pray. GSP's a sissy who eeks out decisions and uses the rules and his athleticism to avoid actually fighting. Diaz is a real fighter who will knock you out or submit you, always pressing the action and being the aggressor. If Diaz wins it will be a huge victory for the sport on so many levels. GSP could barely outstrike Shields, one of the worst strikers in MMA. GSP has accomplished a lot, but no one realizes that he's regressing. If GSP lost one more round he would've lost to Shields (48-47 on two scorecards). He was lucky to have landed a shot that blinded Koscheck (who also has no stand-up), but still couldn't finish him, and he didn't lay a scratch on Can Hardy, who got KO'd by Carlos Condit of all people. Hop off of Diaz's dick. He almost got his head taken off by Daily. Daily would have taken that fight if Big John didn't get a hard-on and stop the fight while Daily was covering up in the last five seconds of the first round.
