I have ESPN for UFC, but for Strikeforce (or any other MMA for that matter), I just download the events in HD the following morning. There are a couple of excellent MMA torrent websites around.

This was my biggest play, and I got it all wrong. Where I thought Roy would perform better was where Mir excelled. I had it damned backwards. It sunk my event, and I spent a lot of valuable time on that one, too. Being wrong and losing a close fight is one thing. But despite all my efforts, I turned out to be disastrously wrong.

Great job by Frank, he really gutted it out, pushed it, and scored some very nice shots.

Congrats to the guys that called Frank. You guys couldn't have been more correct; Mir had this one all the way, from the opening bell to the last bell. Great job, fellas.

Dana said Roy had the flu just before the fight. Explains why he gassed so badly, I guess.

Just a side note, though. The reality is that fight dragged me down. Wagering on MMA is a game of incomplete information. Sometimes those kind of things fall in your favor, and other times they don't.

i dont think the flu made too much difference in the end.

mir was just too big and strong. nelson, as much as i love the idea of a fat guy winning at MMA, needs lose all that extra weight (and put on quality weight).
