well all month i thought manny will knock him out and i was going to bet on it,. but after watching the weigh in and saw how they got along and manny is friends with him i like he wont go all out to try to kill mosley. which they came out every round before and after touching gloves. i dont like that in boxing i like talking shit and want to kill each other. so right after i watched the weigh in i took manny +180 to win by decision. which as soon as he knocked him down manny backed out pretty much saying i dont want to kill my friend. it paid off taking that bet . but mosley didnt even want to come out to fight at all. the other fights were good tho.

You've never seen a wrestler LNP in the UFC? GSP is one of the biggest draws of all his time and he doesn't really fight. What about P4P king in the UFC Anderson Silva? He was doing some sick break dancing moves as the main event in a new market against Damian Maia. As long as minimum guidelines are met in either MMA or boxing there's nothing anyone can do to stop the top level fighters. One of the top camps, if not the top camp, Greg Jackson's teaches it's fighters how to win based on judging criteria. They don't teach fighters how to win by finish. If the finish comes it comes, but that's not a focus. In the end, the word "fighter" needs to be taken out of use when discussing boxing or MMA. The majority of guys in either sport are not fighters. There's boxers and mixed martial artists. Maybe fighting will one day be a sport again.

the pac suffered a leg cramp after the Knockdown, http://www.usatoday.com/sports/boxin...n-boring_N.htm i thought the fight was a pretty good one until Shane got Knockdown. I were at a sportsbar and it was rocking until that Knockdown but eventually faded off during later round.

the thing is that in mma, even if 1 fight is boring, the rest of the card can easily make up for it.

take ufc 129, the main event was terrible btu the card itself was still aweseom and i was not upset about spending 55$ foir the ppv.

but boxing? no way am i paying 55$ for 1 fight that has a 50% cahnce of being boring.

The co-main event was good, but yeah, the main event was pretty weak.

The problem with big time vegas events is that the crowd could hardly care about anything but the main event.

That co-feature bout was an absolute classic, but a lot of the drama was sapped from the fight cause the crowd was cheering for pacquiaos image on the big screen instead of the fight.

The difference my friend, is you fight to WIN. I dont care how you win, as long as you win. If you are in control of the fight, its totally different. GSP & Anderson control the fights. Mosely showed up, collected his paycheck & didnt try to WIN.

what about the unfinished business between marquez vs manny? i think thats the fight that makes most sense if you've been following them both. Lot of people thought that marquez won the first two fight just because those fights were really close and could have gone either way so that is the best fight that they should force and needs to happen. Its also two of the best competitive fights i have seen btw.
