#6They are going to use that setup as a developmental league or some shit. They aren't going to fold them in like they did with the WEC situation.Comment -

#13wow...this is total shit. Im pretty pissed off at this...the only good thing is that mauro and braceface will HOPEFULLY be gone. I still cant believe it, they must have seen them as a pretty good sized threat to their business. I fault Showtime for agreeing to terms, but what can you do? Business is business..and now with exposure by zuffa, they got a helluva lot bigger.Comment -

#18"The UFC apparently wasn't the only suitor of Strikeforce.
ProElite Inc., the once-mighty fight-promotion company purchased for pennies on the dollar in February 2010 by Stratus Media Group Inc., had been in active negotiations with the recently acquired Strikeforce and had met face to face with CEO Scott Coker"
this is interesting, they could have not signed with the UFC and gone head to head and they chose not to

#23also looks like Scott Coker really didn't want to sell but his partners that own the San Jose Sharks and the HP Pavilion were tired of losing money on MMAComment
