5dimes question - for those who use this book
I placed this bet last month and Tito pulled out. The parlay is still pending though for some reason, even though half of it is canceled. Does 5dimes pay out the full bet now that only one of the actual fights is happening? If not, it's a little ridiculous that they are still holding my funds.

Will probly just count as a single play on Marquadt now so u've got $100 on Marquadt at -280. I'd ask their online chat help tho to check.

That makes sense, but I would have never paid the juice on Marquardt at -280 alone. Guess now I know better, but I'll check to be sure. I've only used bodog up until recently and they just cancel the entire bet outright freeing up your funds.

They might just be slow on the uptake and plan on voiding as well, I've only ever had this happen with Euro books and they just let the parlays stand but "push" the particular fighter who's pulled out from the parlay.

Your parlay will turn into a straight. It will not be cancelled. Just make sure you're aware of what's going on when betting futures. There are several books out there still holding funds from the Velasquez vs. Dos Santos and will hold the funds up to the date they specified. Some books hold certain bets up to one year if the event never gets a date announced. For your bet it will just turn into a straight, but just be aware when placing bets.

Thanks guys. On the bright side at least I have confidence in Nate and don't have to worry about sweating it out 2 bouts. This play is fairly large for me as my units are usually only $10-$20 plays.

Bodog always called it a push and kept the parlay pending for me. They also cancelled my Cain over JDS wager upon request. But they wont cancel my Rampage over Rashad bet that now isnt happening. Frustrating.

Could always buy back (and lose a bit of juice) with a play on Akiyama if you're not comfortable with the wager...

A 2 fighter parlay and a single bet are 2 very different things imo, that's how I bet favorites half the time so I'd be pissed if they didn't let me change it. But I guess I'd be more pissed if they just replaced Ortiz with Davis for the parlay

5dimes has online support, they could tell you much easier then us guessing. Most likely they made it a straight bet.

I think its pretty much standard that the parlay reduces if a leg is cancelled.

technically in a parlay, aren't you really just laying down 100 on marquardt straight, then reinvesting 100% of the winnings into lil nog anyway?

                            Winnings+initial bet you are correct.
