    Anyone Backing Hendo?
So all the talk on SBR for the last few weeks has been all about how the smart money is on Feijao, the line is moving a lot now show that people are hitting it hard. But are there any Hendo backers here, it seem like SBR could be a very sad place tonight if Hendo connects with that right hand.

My heart says Hendo but my money is staying in my pocket for this one.

hendo will be put out man don't bet hendo i see big ego messing him up thinking feijao can't match blow for blow. dangerous fight for hendo if he is smart he will try to tack him down for the ground and pound but i see hendo's flaw is his back right now so i dont see none of that

No play on that one but yeah seems everybody is on Feijao... if i had a gun to my head i'd take Henderson though. i've not seen one poster on Henderson.

My only dilemma is deciding whether to let an unusually large play roll on +200, make it guarantee profit, or find the middle somewhere.

For me I always like the sure thing even if it means possibly messing up a nice pay day. In the long run I think it is best to take the free money. That line will only go down I think before fight time but I think a lot of people are going to be going for the guaranteed profit and it might even out the betting.

how many units did you put on the +200?

If I had a gun to my head, I'd rather have a 31 year old bruiser like Feijao fighting for my brains' containment...not 40 year old Dan.

Same boat. I would freeroll on Feijao before taking the guaranteed profit. I'm sticking with the value in Feijao though.

                risk 3.5u on Feijao

Thinking pure value it would be best to let it ride since I think Feijao should be the favorite not taking into account market numbers. But, since 1/1/11, i have not played a fight for anymore than to win 1.5u, and I had planned on keeping it that way. The only reason I took Fejao so large to begin with was my confidence that the line would come back down, so I prob should free roll it. But I am a gambler, it is a disease, I want to let it ride bad, hahaha.

I have 2 units on hendo. He's going to wrestle and control Cavalcante for an easy decision win.

Just because Dan is 40 doesnt mean anything its not likes hes started to decline hes 4-1 in his last 5 beating Babalu, bisping, Rich Franklin, rousimar palhares and losing to Jake shields. Outside of king Mo who has Feijao beat thats an Elite world class fighter?? Antwain Britt?? Aaron Rosa please Mike kyle and antwain Britt both rocked him. Not like Henderson cant hang with this kid. If Feijao can beat Henderson then i will believe.

Monkey Mountain Hua Hin, Thailand.... Was walking with my girl a lil monkey came up snatched my lipton ice tea looked at it for a a few seconds and turned it upside down and took it to the neck. Was still 3/4 full that lil monkey killed it in one shot. If you look close you can see the can. The old gray haired alpha male beat his ass about 10 seconds after that picture was taken... good times.

Money comes when you believe before the play. I understand a lot of people won't risk because of how dangerous Dan is, but literally the only thing Dan has going for him in this fight is the most predictable punch and a decade of wars. The rest of the factors in how this bout will play out; speed/accuracy/timing/reflex/technique/instinct/explosion/variety...all are dominated or moderately edged by Feijao, not Dan.

I saw Feijao's fight with Britt, that's actually when I became a fan, the punch that sent Britt down came from nowhere and made the loudest smacking noise. I don't remember Feijao being pushed too hard there. I know Dan has a long and remarkable list of credentials while Feijao only has around 10 fights, but where they've been won't dictate this fight (unless we're talking age/mileage working against Dan), it's ultimately about recognizing potential and knowing where their game will be on fight night. From an interview and comment from one of his trainers, I gather Feijao eats/breathes/lives MMA...and Dan is playing poker with Bruce Buffer and wrestling with Matt Lindland and striking probably with Sokoudjou

                            Almost time...

Couldn't agree more.. Dan will probably settle for standing and banging, and you don't want to do that with Feijao. I'll be very surprised if this goes 3 rounds.

I'm not saying credentials don't matter, but what was the last solid credential Hendo earned? Look at Fedor, another Pride antique, credentials meant shit when it came to fighting an evolved, "newer age" fighter.

I picked Rafael Cavalcante to win. I have now lost my last 5 wagers in a row.

Why so you can fade me?

I don't bet on every main event. I usually only wager on fights I feel strongly about and this isn't one of them. If I had to choose now I'd say Jones. Unless Shogun can get a quick KO/TKO I see Jones taking him down nearly at will and I really don't see Shogun sweeping or getting up under a big strong wrestler like Jones.

Why the thought never even crossed my mind

I think I probably will be sitting on the sidelines for this fight as well, I think Jones will win as well, but the odds are just out of control. Normally if a mma stud rookie was taking on an elite champion the rook would be a dog, in which case yeah I would bite. Here we have him not only as a favorite, but a fairly decent one at that. Just doesn't look like a good spot.

Oddsmakers saw something on jones that should made him a favorite but when you look on paper, shogun shud be the favorite. Lean on jones but still waiting for the line to get better as the bettors prolly used to Rua's limelight.

8.5 inch reach advantage for Jones thats huge! And hes good at using that reach advantage. Jones is the better wrestler say what you want about Vladdy but trust me he trained at antonio mckees during their IFL days when i got back from teaching in thailand i was there in the room rolling with him matyushenko is a badass nobody walks through him like that these days.Bader, Vera, o'brien hes smashing some pretty good wrestlers. Jones is the real deal trust me shogun is fighting an uphill battle from the opening bell for reasons mentioned above. People bring up Alistair overeems 81.5 reach but they are different strikers different style fighters, different skillset, Alistair doesnt fight behind his reach advantage as well as he should imo. I dont think it will be a walk in the park and i think Bones will get hit alot more than hes has been in past fights but i do think hes going to take a U DEC possible stoppage over Shogun.
