    ALVAREZ-HATTON Over/Under?
    Anyone know of any odds?

havnt done any research yet but I'd probably peg it at 9.5 rounds, the over being about -210. I like the Under. Alvarez is probably going to try and make a statement on HBO on the big stage, and Hatton has bad defense to say the least

Over 9.5 is at +125 to +140 range on Euro sites. Under is -162 to -200 range.

why are hatton`s people throwing him under the bus here?.....he`s fighting on foreign soil vs a younger, stronger guy that should throttle him rather easily...

is he getting retirement money?....this just doesn`t compute....

remind me never to hite hatton`s handlers...they`re sadists...

Hatton's handlers are himself and his brother, lol. This will be the biggest payday of his career and he doesn't really have many other options. He could rematch Craig Watson or Lovemore N'Dou and probably get a L for a much smaller paycheck, or he can get 6 figures for a fight that could turn out to be worth even more than that if his lottery ticket cashes and he somehow pulls out a win.

Hatton showed a lot of guts and chin even though he was outclassed and outweighed (Opie came in as a super middleweight). I think he gets crushed when/if he steps up the level of competition.

well, apparently, hatton was cashing out....he wasn`t winning that fight.....

                  he did expose canelo somewhat,though...

canelo`s defense= very bad...unless he just knew hatton couldn`t hurt him and disregarded his defense to walk him down........

but he tends to slap with his left hook...there are quite a few welters and jr middles that would have decapitated hatton,imo...don`t get me wrong...hatton`s tough...but extremely limited..he never stopped trying and has nothing to be embarrassed about..

aside from the cut,his face looked pretty good considering the amount of punishment he took...

file it away...for when canelo fights a legit guy who has some skill and can punch...that fair complexion could get messed up....

i`m curious to see how long his handlers play the "chavez jr/paul spadfora set-up of the month" schtick....

i know he`s young...but with 35 fights under your belt,it might be time to start stepping up...

if you want to be a wilfred benitez(prodigy),you have to beat some legit guys...

                  until then,the jury`s out..
