    Question about DEEP imports
So I'll be honest I haven't watched much of any DEEP fights. Seems like since they are about to fold they are allowing their fighters to sign elsewhere. Herman and Santiago are the notables I've heard of. OK here's my question -

Are they gonna amount to much, or are these guys basically farm-leaguers? I read somewhere that Santiago had middling results previously in UFC, and despite Herman's gaudy record I have to suspect he's padded it with a few cans.

My one thought that redeems these guys - Zuffa has so many guys under contract now, I doubt they'd bring in new talent unless Joe Silva really believed in them.

    Thanks for your time.

Santiago was very young in the UFC has gotten better over the years.one of the few top ten middleweights in the world that was not in the UFC. see him doing well. Herman is tuff guy but will see how he does against the UFC he does against the UFC heavyweights.
Herman = average or a few fights and out in the ufc.or a jorneyman gatekeeper.
Santiago training and getting better at Top team.could be a contender

Neither of these guys ever fought in DEEP. Im assuming you mean Sengoku.

Herman has a ton of potential, but he seems to be a little weak mentally. If he takes it serious and stays focused, he can be a player in the HW division. He's extremely athletic, a DIV-1 wrestler, and has power.

I've never been overwhelmed with santiago but he definitely deserves to be in the UFC. Its hard to judge how good he will be, as he's only fought 4 times in the last 2 years and it was against the same 2 opponents. His epic wars against Misaki are always fun to watch though.

Thanks for the correction, yeah I meant SRC. General consensus seems like they will both be gatekeepers. Not suprising though, if they were gonna be contenders they would already be in UFC.

Dave Herman seems so naturally talented for a big guy. In his post fight interviews he would always be joking about training by himself in his basement and shit like that. Most likely joking around, but I dont think he was training with an elite camp for the majority of his career. Wiki says currently with Lloyd Irvin. Not sure if accurate. I would think he would be a real force if he started training with elite heavy weights.
