Unfortunately Sakara is their only marketable Italian fighter so it's unlikely they'll be ther for a few years yet.

Yeah. I remember Bruce Lee fighting Chuck Norris there. Enter the Dragon I think. Great kung-fu movie.

Maybe in a few years if they rehab the interior of The Colisiem.

Would be cool. They could tie the PPV intro to a real fighter in the coliseum

Benson and Matt Hughes had better be careful, their types haven't done so well in the coliseum.

I do not think this is entirely true, think it has much to do with how much interest there is. Its a big possibility that UFC comes to Sweden this fall (thank god ) and we only have one fighter in UFC, Alexander Gustafsson. The interest for MMA in Sweden is growing fast, MMA clubs are opening all over the county. I don´t think MMA has reached the same popularity in Italy yet. I might be wrong but thats what I imagin. Although Sweden is a smaller country, we may fill the stadium faster than in italy.

Classic movie , and its Way of the Dragon and not Enter the Dragon, in Enter the Dragon Bruce Lee´s character fights in a martial arts tournament on a island much like the kumite. I am a bit of a martial arts movie nerd .

UFC at the colosseum would be awesome in the future!

Big difference between Sweden and Italy. You're talking one of the highest standards of living vs some of the lowest in Europe. Not a lot of money in Italy. Besides I was just there and they're more into WWE shit than MMA at the moment. Most of them that I talked to don't even really know the UFC or any fighters.
