shields is a very big 170.......but his cardio is a real issue in what(for him) would seem to most to be a 5 round decision in a winning scenario(but not me)........
shields might have thee worst stand-up i`ve ever seen in an elite fighter.....
to be fair,must mention also that most had the same opinion when shields fought dan henderson...
imo,shields` best shot would be to grapple into some sort of choke because i think his cardio eventually betrays him....i honestly don`t think gsp wants it on the ground vs shields(at least not early)....he won`t muscle shields on the ground like he does everyone else...
i wonder what a long shot "shields inside the distance" throwaway prop might pay?.....
