I personally see no sense in playin Rivera straight up. Only way he wins this is by TKO/KO so take the prop at +400 or better.Comment -

I'll probably tail lasky minus a few. Best he got was +300 and even that seems appealing. Bisping is a spoiler but I was never impressed by Akiyama, and this world beater status conferred on him by the books is a bluff worth taking a potshot at.Comment -
Ah I see, well +315 is worth a pop, Bisping is also having trouble with his elbow, still feeling the effects from a staph infection tht he had a recently. He's on antibiotics at the moment tho so isnt likely to effect his training much more.Comment -

I expect Rivera KO of the Night to be +600 to +800 range which would be good value IMO as I dont see any KO's in the other main card fights. I expect Condit/Lytle to go to decision, Fitch to win by decision, Noke to beat Camozzi by decision, and Sotiropolous to win by Submission. So I dont forsee much competition on the main card for KO of the Night. I think Bisping has the next highest chance of getting it but then he doesnt have one punch power so one of the undercard KO's that are possible might be more deserving, as if he does finish Rivera I envisage it being by TKO and similar to the Kang victory.Comment -

Yeah that's a good advantage that Bisping has in this one, if he does find himself boxed in by Rivera or just taking punishment in general he will be able to do what he did with Kang and take him down. He took Kang down three times in the second round of their fight before finishing him. He also got a single on Wanderlei and and shoved Wanderlei to the ground in the first round of their fight, as well as defending Wanderlei's single takedown attempt well. In the second round Bisping got a nice double-leg and another one at the end of the round. Wanderlei got up comfortably from all 4 of Bisping's takedowns but I wouldnt expect Rivera to be able to escape like Wanderlei can. More recently in the Akiyama fight, Bisping got a takedown in first round (Akiyama got up straight away though), then Bisping attempted two more takedowns in the first rounds but failed to get Sexyama to the mat. Bisping found his rhythm standing in second round and didnt attempt any more takedowns. So in each of Bisping's last 3 fights he has attempted and landed takedowns, and I'd say that all three of those fighters either have better takedown defence or present a greater threat off their backs than Rivera does.Originally posted by jin2daj
