    Gomi vs Guida...
    I know most of my threads are stupid, but I wanna ask a serious question....

    Why are you guys so confident in Gomi? Besides that flash KO vs Grifffin, he has looked average in his last half dozen fights. I'm not saying Guida is a lock or anything, I just think it could totally go either way. I don't know about you guys but I see much more value in guys like Thiago Silva and The Stun Gun vs Nate Diaz...

      i agree there are better bets but guida has never impressed me. having good cardio and looking like a retarded monkey alone does not make one a great fighter

          I am on Guida as well. Gomi has not impressed me thus far in the ufc and Guida has recently buckled down and actually started training hard. Guida, in recent fights, has actually had a gameplan, making him much more of a formidable opponent than in the past.

                          I think it is Gomi's past success v. wrestlers. The fact that he has a solid wrestling base to neutralize Guida coupled with Guida's propensity to get into wild exchanges.

                                      Not a bad shout! I think 3 out of the 5 dogs on main-card (Stann, Edgar, Vera, Diaz and Gomi) will win.

                                              I'm just saying that a lot of these dogs are skilled, well rounded enough and have decent ring experience. I'll wait until the fights start as hopefully some more value will be added to the dogs.
