    Assuncao vs LC Davis
Raphael is awfully talented to be a underdog at +135. I have no doubt that LC will be able to take Raph down, but what happens from there is what I'm interested in. LC Davis leaves his head unprotected when he shoots and was caught by Grispi and almost caught in the Nunes fight.

Assuncao had a very disappointing fight last, as he did his impression of a very average kick boxer and lost a split decision to Nunes. I think he will be back into the cage, rededicated to what made him a top contender in the first place. The guy is very slick on the ground.

Right now Bodog doesn't have any props out for this fight, but I'm leaning towards Assuanco by submission with LC by decision. If those aren't available to me I think I might just put a small bet on Assuanco.

Any thoughts? Comments? people telling me I suck?

Yep I only see Davis winning this by decision so if you can find a prop and get him at +175 or better that would be good value. I didnt think any books ever did props for WEC? I'd love it if PaddyPower and skybet had done/did props for WEC as a lot of fights go to decision in WEC. A straddle with Assuncao by submission makes sense as well, although I wouldnt rule out Assuncao gettin a decision - but clearly with LC Davis' wrestling he is a lot more likely to score points on route to a decision. If I had to make a single play on either to win I'd take Assuncao at +135 even tho I think LC wins the majority of the time. I was actually half-expecting and hoping that Davis would be the underdog at Evens or +110 and Assuncao the slight favourite before the odds came out so Davis at -145 or whatever it is doesnt appeal to me.

the prop bets are most likely wishful thinking on my part, I could also see Assuncao winning an ugly split decision here

      thanks for the input

                Thanks Juiced

Line went up to +165 before the fight, which is pretty nice price in this spot for a guy who was in some sites top 10 not so long ago.

Looks like we were right with our inkling that Assuncao might get a decision! Did you just bet straight up on Assuncao in the end? I'd of defintely put a unit on him at +165 if I'd of seen it on pinnacle just before the event started but was asleep unfortunately! Gd job anyway Poppa!

Just straight up, I was kind of saved a few bucks by the books since mine didn't offer anything else on this fight.

It was a good night, I looked further into the Mayday fight after seeing you pick him, and it just looked like a stylistic nightmare for his opponent. I used that fight, Benavidez, and Faber as a three team parlay and then added Jabouin for a four team, and then tried to live the dream with a five team by adding Vazquez.

I should have just stuck with the wrestling theme.

Yee Mayday was always going to be too determined, athletic and explosive for Godfrey, my only concern was lack of experience and first 'big fight' nerves which stopped me going big on him, but he clearly showed that he's fearless. Damn, shame you couldnt do a 4 out of 5 folds parlay similar to what I did with Faber, Mendes, Jabouin and Sotiropolous. You'd of got at least ur stake back then even though Vazquez lost.
