hopefully Florian comes out and fights Dunham, that pussy ass performance against Maynard was pathetic.

He's already said on twitter that there is no chance of him making 145, he already has to cut from 170-175 and is a diet freak.

Add Hominick vs Roop. I shall be betting big on Hominick again at -200 or better.

Yeah, I don't see how Roop could pull that fight out. -200 would be a steal.

Hopefully it does come out close to even. I'm sure heavy action will be on Dunham.

Well Hominick came out at -120 and ended up at -200 range against Garcia, and the bookies might over-value Roop after his 'highlight reel' KO of the Korean Zombie (who has no defense whatsoever) so I wouldnt be surprised if Hominick comes out at betwen -180 and -220 range.

What? Ive seen Kenny say on numerous occasions that he only cuts like 2 or 3 lbs. He weighs like 158. He could easily make 145.

Ha I think you'll find that he cuts 2 or 3lbs on the day of the weigh-ins, he even fought at 185 in TUF then had two fights at 170 then went down to lightweight! This is from a FightMagazine article:
“My walk around weight is between 168 and 172 pounds. As my training load increases and my fight training diet changes, my weight comes off naturally,” explained Florian. - http://www.fightmagazine.com/mma-mag...id=235&issid=9

Some great betting options on this card, but I assume the odds will be high on Guillard, Hominick, and Barry.

MMAjunkie.com has learned from sources close to the promotion that Florian suffered an undisclosed injury while training for a planned matchup with Dunham and has been forced to withdraw from the bout.

Florian was going to get a beat down. I'm suspicious of this injury.

i suppose but dunham florian was good enough to be co-main on a PPV.

a good fight that would asnwer questions about both fighters.

Florian was going to get a beat down. I'm suspicious of this injury.
Pretty sure Florian was on twitter yesterday saying that he was finishing off training with GSP for his fight this weekend. Just read Florian's statement on his website:

"It is with deep regret that I will not be able to compete in my scheduled fight against Evan Dunham on January 22nd, due to a knee injury I sustained during training this morning. Although I have not had an MRI as of yet; the doctors are cautiously optimistic that it will not require surgery. I want to express my sincere apologies to the fans, the UFC and Evan for not being able to compete at UFC Fight Night 23: Fight for the Troops 2. Since early September, I have been training for this fight. Evan is a great fighter and has undoubtedly been working very hard towards this fight as well. Plus, it is a big disappointment that I will not be able to fight in the octagon for the brave soldiers that fight for us.
I am determined to return to the octagon in the first half on 2011. Accordingly, I will keep you all updated."
