i think edgar/alvarez would be a barn burner....it would be a blur in there....

    and honestly,despite adgar`s wrestling,i may just lean alvarez....more powerful...more of a finisher...

those leg kicks were brutal(and huerta has legs like tree trunks)....

would be a great little fight...

Just got back from the Liacouras Center in Phila. Was surprised how easily Alvarez dominated Huerta. I guess you're right he doesn't want to fight anymore. Quitting on the stool what a shame. How far he has fallen. On a side note Askren is a beast and takes down and mounts Good in every round. Ref stands them up from mount position this is the second time I've seen this. The best part one judge scores the fight 48-47 Askren.

he didnt quit, it was a doctor stoppage. And with the way the second round ended I am glad. With BFC judges it is safe to say at least one of them had it tied 1-1 going into round 3.

Huerta just isnt an elite fighter. I was a little worried with the talk about this being the fight of his career figuring he might have put together a great camp, but Avarez just superior everywhere.

I thought you could give Good the first round with the activity form his back, Askren couldnt pass, must of round was in nuetral position with Good doing arguably more damage. But, Askren ended round strong. I guess that judge gave Good the 5th too.

Sooner than later Askren will get caught on feet or in sub. He is still way too one dimensional too be elite.
