                                                                  mir looking really lean compared to his last fight..... how does one bulk up 20lbs of muscle and then 6 months later its gone? honest question

                                                                      I know he said he was going to drop the muscle after his fight with Carwin. If you stop the weight training and do more running, you'll drop muscle and get leaner. I think this is the best he has looked. 230 was too small. 265 was too big and bloated.

                                                                                                          Mir and CC both suck, but Mir was slightly less bad. With 25lbs of extra muscle you would think Mir would be able to get some takedowns if thats what he wanted. CC wasn't able to execute his game plan very well, but he was able to stop Mir's main plan of attack. CC needs to cut about 21lbs and Mir needs to improve his wrestling.

                                                                                                                                          UFC 119: Mir vs CroCop

                                                                                                                                          UFC 119 seemed very much influenced by men who put job security first and fought safely, minimizing risk and maximizing their chances to win on Saturday at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

                                                                                                                                          By installing its bonus system, the UFC has tried to encourage its fighters to push for finishes whenever possible. Perhaps introducing Pride Fighting Championships-style yellow cards and automatic purse deductions for stalling and inactivity could be the solution.
