Thats definitely a weak card. How can you argue that. The biggest name is frankie edgar. This card will not sell a lot of ppv's.

Yea with Aldo out this card isn't living up to the New years "mega card". 2nd year in a row now, with last years main event being Rashad Evas/Thiago Silva. At least there still is a title fight on the card

I personally cant wait for Leben vs Stann! Currently half-way through Stann's book and it truly is the best book I've ever read. I tend to try and avoid bettin on fights that involve my favourite fighters but I wont be able to resist if Stann comes out at +150 or better (which I expect due to the Leben hype after the Simpson and crazy Akiyama win). Just hoping this DUI doesnt force Leben to pull out! Im also surprised that this fight hasnt been moved to the Fight For the Troops event which is only 25 days later...surely it would of made sense to have him as the co-main event seeing as he is an Operation Matador vet and Silver Star recipient!

Yeah, although this card is still good (especially the undercard) IMO, it definitely is not at the level of last years UFC100 (at least in terms of "star" names) which had Sexyama, Belcher, Fitch, GSP, Thiago Alves, Bisping, Hendo, Lesnar and Mir all on the main card. To be fair the UFC couldnt know that Aldo would pull out!

I'd rather not have a completely stacked card like UFC 100. What happened after 100? The next couple of UFC's were embarrassments, some not even worth having on PPV. This might not be the best card ever, but it should easily be one of the better cards of the year.

I think it's the co-main event so might be why it's come out before any of the other main card fights. Im confident the post-Akiyama Leben hype will lead to Stann reaching +175 so Im gonna hang on for a bit longer before biting!

Now that I think about it, this card is gonna be fireworks. It seems weak on paper but the matchups are gonna make it exciting. Except Maynard Edgar, which is guarenteed to go to decision with Maynard layin n prayin or frankie jabbing and running.

The bets that stand out to me are Gomi, Stann and Maynard.

Im torn on this one, I think both will be close to evens?. I guess this is gonna be Volkmann's first fight against a fighter who is equal to or better than him at wrestling but Christmas will have the BJJ edge? McKee should also have speed advantage. Only thing that puts me off McKee is that Volkmann has definitely faced better competition than McKee has and isnt Mckee used to competing in a ring? I doubt anybody he has faced is UFC material except Karo back in the day who he lost to! I'd love to take a to decision prop bet on this one if I could!
