Hopkins looked shot in his last fight, but he has suprised me before so maybe he will win.

IMO Pascal's a pretty fun fighter to watch. He stays active in the ring and is tough as nails... in his rematch with Adrian Diaconu he dislocated his shoulder 3 times yet never stopped throwing punches. Skillwise, I think he would lose to most of the Super 6 fighters if he was still a SMW and a prime Hopkins would likely tear him apart. He lost decisively to Carl Froch and imo his win against Chad Dawson was a little flukey. Against a 45 year old Hopkins though, it could be a very competitive fight and will probably have more action than the typical Hopkins bout.
If the fight is in Vegas I'll probably go.

This is why boxing sucks.
What happened to Hopkins going to Heavyweight?
What happened to Bute/Pascal, which would have been big in Montreal.

Hopkins going to Heavyweight would be ridiculous, especially at this stage of the game.

I agree with JC2008 that Hopkins fighting at HW would be silly at this point in time. Bute/Pascal isn't happening now due to scheduling, but Bute will probably fight either Dawson or Pascal in his next bout after Jesse Brinkley.

It's not like Hopkins would have campaigned at HW against the Klitschko's or something. He would have cherry picked for the lesser belts against older fighters like Grant, Holyfield, Toney, Briggs, etc.
He's doing worse to the sport by fighting Jean Pascal.
