I'd stay away from this fight... vlad is a battle-hardened warrior who knows the tricks of mma well...

if anything id go with small play on vlad just cause i think the line is a little skewed toward jones

Does anyone really want to see this guy lose before he gets to some marquee fights? With all due respect to Vlad, I hope Jones rips his head off and then locks in a body triangle to make his torso tap.

The only way Matyushenko wins this one is if he gets Jones to his back because I have a feeling Jones doesn't train from his back all that much. He is super confident and has reason to be so far, but I would have to believe that is probably his one weakness. Unfortunately for Matyushenko, both of them have great wrestling so that nullifies any takedowns most likely. Stand up, Jones has a huge advantage. I don't really remember how Vlad fights in the clinch but Jones has so much height, power, quickness, reach and everything else on him. Maybe power they are pretty close.

I saw an interview Jones did recently with Rogan and he said he's been training a lot of jiu-jitsu from his back because he knows it's his main weakness. With Jones training out of Jackson's camp, you've gotta assume that they prepare him for the worst case scenarios.

I got bones jones inside the distance for -150. Its not possible for the janitor to survive three rounds. Dont waste your money on him.

jones style of wrestling is different from that of gsp/fitch/kos
they focus more on shooting to the legs and cage control, jones specializes in throws, toss', and trips

vlad is gonna get tossed around like a rag doll

There's no value on betting any huge ML favourite in an MMA fight. I'm a big Jon Jones fan, but would never lay that kind of money no matter how lopsided a fight seemed. Werdum was a -800 favourite when he fought JDS and look what happened. GSP was a -600 favourite against Serra in their first fight and look how that turned out.
