Mr.Kittys UFC on Versus 2 picks
    Brian Stann @ 2.40/+140, 4 units

I bet almost exclusively on underdogs in MMA and imo this is the best one at this event, hence the big units. My biggest bet is 5 units so its almost a max bet.

I think the move down to middleweight will do Stan good, from being a small light heavyweight and he looks to be in great shape. Stann has been focusing on his BJJ and wrestling since his last fight and Jon Jones/Rashad Evans has been helping him a lot. In an interview he said that the biggest thing they been working on is him being more active from his back. But the key here is to stop Massenzios takedown attempts so he can stand and trade punches.

Massenzio last fight was on december 27, 2008 so I expect him to be very ringrusty. This is a big factor in this fight, because if Massenzio came of a win or a recent fight then maybe he would have been the better pick. But right now im loving Stann to win either by decision or TKO.

I have not finished my research so it could be that I add one or two bets tomorrow. Looking at Damarques Johnson, Paul Kelly and a favorite in Ellenberger. Feel free to make any comments, good luck everyone!

where have you been all my life Mr KITTY?

big fan of your other 3 picks, been considering buying out of my Kelly play but I might just end up straddling it with Volkmann by sub. GL

Thanks , I mostly post in the soccer forum where I have my own thread but im going to post my plays for every UFC event from now on. Actually started for UFC116.

The way I see Volkmann-Kelly fight is that Volkmann only has one advantage and thats wrestling, his stand up is terrible and Kelly is pretty decent on the ground if I remember right so I dont think he will sub him. Volkmann really need a win though, but it might be worth one unit. Damarques might also be worth one unit and Ellenberger a little more since hes a favorite. Going to look more into those fights tomorrow.

huge edge in bjj as well

"In 2008, he had six professional fights and found time to win the U.S. Grappling World Team Trials and then went on to capture the FILA World Grappling title, defeating black belt Brazilian Marcello Salazar Mousinho."

Good to know, this is turning out to be a no-bet fight for me. I actually missed his fight against Torres because they dont show Fight Nights or Versus events live in my country, also im a bit tired right now so I missed that he won that fight. Maybe the best bet is to not bet it at all

Love Brian Stann. I took +145 and I'm going to put more on it as it keeps going up (currently +150). I think Johnson may be the best underdog from the others. I think Volkmann Kelly has too many variables and I'll stay away.

I think Johnson and Munoz are the two best underdogs, in that order.

I was going to add a 2 unit play on Damarques Johnson but he weighed in at 172.5 so he have to cut some more weight. With that in mind its a no-bet for me.
