I've been a fan of Strikeforce Challengers. They should stick to this up-and-coming format and stop trying to compete with the UFC or they'll be out of business like the others.

I like the challenger series too, there kinda like ufcs ufn.When it comes to their main shows, they put on some great cards, that are just as good if not better than some ufc ppvs.

The last couple of Strikeforce cards have been awesome for sure. Sometimes the UFC puts a card together just to put a card together, not because they have good talent available. However, the UFC is planning on taking Strikforce's talent slowly, so who knows. Maybe it will get harder to put these great cards together with a few of Strikeforce's top guys going to the UFC.

After watching Mike Kyle vs Tony Lopez, in which I had a small play on Mike Kyle... I'm thinking I might make a play on Abongo here

(Need to watch some tape on Abongo though -- All I know is that Kyle was completely unimpressive)

I agree with what other people said, Strikeforce really needs to tone it down. They have really minimal talent in almost all of their divisions minus a few guys at the top like melendez or diaz and they are paying through the nose for contracts like Fedor and Dan Henderson. Their CBS experiment has been a total and abject failure, with Jake Shields leg humping for five rounds twice and the brawl. They need to cut payroll or get out of the business, they just arent going to be able to bring in good revenue

yeah, no problem with the Strikeforce shows at all. I think the problem is that they aren't making any money off of them. Not enough to cover some of those salaries anyway.

Im going with Kaufman -415, its alot of chalk , but I dont see how roxane wins this fight.I watched some of her fights and she doesnt appear to be very athletic or explosive.Sahra on the other hand has some really good boxing and good takedown defense.

What does everyone think about Voelker +195. Devela is coming off yr+ layoff. The loss to Rockhold was set up my a strick early. I dont remember the Riggs fight well and never saw the Matrin KO. If his chin is at all questionable, Voelker will hurt him. Seems like a high number here.

disclaimer: I say this without having studied Abongo thoroughly just yet...

Sundin, be careful with Kyle. I was all over backing him against Tony Lopez. And he almost blew that fight. He was absolutely abysmal. If he brings that same fight to Abongo, he may get his lights knocked out.

On paper, Abongo certainly has a nice record, but he has beaten mostly subpar talent. At the same time, I think people put too much emphasis on Kyle's win over Feijao in rating his skill.

BOL regardless.

Mike Kyle's opponent Abongo Humphrey just weighed in at 182... seems like a bit too much of a disparity to 185 to me. He might not have cut weight for the fight, giving Kyle a nice size advantage. Kyle seems like a good bet to me now

Modafferi doesnt have much of a chance to win tonight.I thought she lost her last fight, but she was facing more of a ground fighter.Now shes facing Kaufman, who has the best boxing at 135 and good takedown defense.Anything can happen in mma, but this is a really bad mathcup for Roxanne
