anyone ever been to a UFC event? Best Seat?

I went to UFC 106 myself but I had pretty seats and i pretty much just watched the jumbotron the whole time and I decided that If i was going to just watch a screen I'd rather PPV and sit comfortably on my couch.

In any case, for my next UFC event i plan to only go if I can sit in the absolute best section, the trouble is... where is that? I hear floor seats make it difficult to see the action when people stand and also the octagon is raised above the floor which it makes it difficult as well. where is the best seat in the house?

i had kind of high up seats for an MMA event, but it was cool because i had a birdseye view since i was above the ring. i could see right down in to it.

been to 3 events in my life,once had had floor seats (first montreal show), had mid level (2nd montreal show) and cheapest seats availble for fedor vs rogers at the sears center.... i enjoyed the cheapest ones simply becase i had a great veiw at everything, a certain ponits on the ground you may not see anything so just look at the tron..... i enjoy going to the fights but realisticly you get better views etc. watching it on tv, the thing you get by going live is the general atmosphere you cant get a more electric enviroment then fedor practicly hitting rogers head of his shoulders....

Been to plenty of them and sat in a whole bunch of different places. Stay away from the floor seats, I had seats just a couple rows away from the Octagon once and it sucked.

The cage is on a raised platform and unless the fighters happen to be on your side of the cage when it goes to the mat you can't see shit.

Best place at any UFC is that first row of seating right above the floor seats.

I sat ringside at Mohegan Sun once for UFC. Was about 8 years ago.

A nice experience but it's a little different watching a fight without the announcing commentary. Felt more dull in some ways.

I have been to UFC 91, 100, 114 and 116. All except for 100 were at MGM Grand. I sat in the section between the fighters entrance during 91 and the view to the cage was blocked by the camera man the whole time. So for 100 I sat at an angle on the opposite end of the fighters entrance, and had a great view of the cage. There really isn't a bad seat, and every seat I had was at the top price range.

haha, this is true. but, atmosphere ate live show can't be replicated at home. I have been to 7 mma events, i believe. best seats are the first 3-4 rows off the floor in the middle. besides that, i think the first several rows of the upper level are good, if in the middle. you dont get blocked by the cage posts or camera men as much. Good angle directly into the cage.
