It's been a while since my last MMA posts here and I wonder if any of the old "regulars" still post here. But I'm back and this is a great event to do so. I almost wish I wasn't away for so long so I would be a little more aggressive with my bets. There is potential to kill with this card.

I think I may be over-thinking these plays right now so I may upgrade them later. But as of now this is my final card. Hope this returns a good one.

Fuckin Chris Lytle. I swear, he tries to make drama so he has a chance to win Fight Of the Night. This whole fight he was just trying to win a bonus...and he might of just done it with that mounted triangle and straight armbar. He at the very least matched Ricardo Romero's submission.

Ugh. Last time I bet on a guy who has shitty ass cardio. I didn't think it would be such a factor because of Leben fighting 12 days ago and that Akiyama would keep the fight on the ground where he wouldn't expend so much energy. Apparently I was wrong. That's what you get for going rock'em sock'em robot with a guy who lives for that shit. That's what really made Akiyama tired. Leben wins by Triangle Choke submission at 4:31 of the 3rd. Real curious to see if he would've won that on the judges card. I personally had him losing that third round and would've given the fight to Leben.

OH SHIT! What a main event that was. My biggest fear with Lesnar was his chin and oh damn was it tested tonight. Carwin jacked him with a MASSIVE right uppercut and Brock was scrambling. Carwin put Brock down with punches and it was a legit two and a half minutes of Carwin beating Brock on the ground. It was almost stopped in a couple of places but at the last second Brock would always start moving and scrambling.

After that first round though, I felt real good because my biggest question/fear about Brock was just answered and put to rest. Mother fucker is tough as shit. He came out for the second and looked great; Carwin looked gassed. About minute, minute and a half in Brock his a power double and puts Carwin down. Gets to half guard and is trying to setup an arm triangle. Gets in and moves to side control, applies the pressure, and Carwin taps!

What a way to end the night. Almost perfect but I'll happily take 3-1 for my comeback. Not positive but I believe the next event that I'll definitely bet on is in a month. There might be some others so we'll see. But what a friggin night!
