Lesner or Carwin?

It should be a pretty Epic fight if Lesnar doesn't get knocked out with 1 punch in the first round. He's never really been hit hard, but I'd think with that Huge FVCKING head it would be tough to make his lights go out.

From Lesnars previous fights he doesn't really know how to throw a punch, he just smothers people and pounds them. It'd be very surprising to see him with a knockout.

2 big meat heads going at it. No Lesnar hasn't fought since his sickness, but I'd imagine he'd be in pretty good shape. He's been tested and went 3 rounds with Heath Herring and looked like he didn't have a cardio issue, but that could possibly have changed since his illness....Carwin hasn't gone past the first round so nobody knows his cardio and if he'll slow down. But they both look like they are in great shape, and hopefully neither one of them get gassed.

Brock wins this and should have the same odds as Anderson Silva......

if i can get a nice number tonight after the weigh-in, im taking brock. I had him at -125 but didnt bite, probably not going to happen now. Id love to see brock at -110 but im afraid the line is going to go the other way after the weighins.

its going to be wild for sure. I also hope it last a couple rounds or more. Id like to see some back n forth momentum also and I would not be surprised one bit if brocks chin can't handle carwins dirty boxing and the power behind it, I just dont think carwin is going to get any chances too utilize it. But if brocks back does ever touch the cage he is in some serious trouble.

I think you are correct. When put side by side, public will see that Lesnar is a freak of nature. Get Lesnar at the best price you can IMO.

He sees Carwin and Leben as "safe" bets. Like him or hate him, Hardy has great MMA knowledge and understanding, he usually gets 75% of his picks correct. He was top of the Telegraph's (newspaper) UFC prediction competition last time I looked!

Yea... I'd like to see Lesnar get his cocky mouth shut up. This will be his biggest fight yet, and it will definitely be a good one.

I really hope Lesnar wins, so people can stop saying that he's only faced smaller guys, and was able to outmuscle them. I'd also like to see him grind it out for 5 rounds, just pounding Carwin like he did to Heath Herring. In My opinion that would be the most impressive victory for him, If he could just manhandle a guy his same size/build.

I heard on the Sirius/XM Fight Club Show this afternoon that despite helping Brock train for the fight, Couture picked Carwin to win. Sorry I don't have a source to link to, just found it interesting if true. I'm not sure what context he said it in, so he may have been kidding. Randy's been money on picking fights though. Famously, he called the Gonzaga/Cro Cop fight, and more recently the Rashad/Rampage fight.

I'd like to see Carwin KO Brock in the first round. If that DID happen that would really shake up the Heavyweight rankings with Fedor's recent loss. Who would be considered top dog? Carwin? Werdum? I'm sure many people would disagree with me but I think the Heavyweight division is the best it's ever been in the history of MMA right now. How great would it be if Strikeforce and the UFC agreed to have an 8 man elimination tournament over the next year or so... Imagine... Brock, Werdum, Fedor, Cain Velasquez, Carwin, Dos Santos, Overeem... and who would get the 8th spot? If Barnett couldn't pass the Roid tests you could throw in Anderson Silva to make things interesting. I don't care what people say... I'd still pick Fedor to win it all.

If Brock wins it will be impressive. If Carwin wins, it won't be. Regardless of who wins, the next match for the HW belt will be more interesting than this one.

does anyone think it would be bad for ufc if lesnar wins??? i think in a way it would be cause carwin is suppose to be a great fighter, and if lesnar can take a year off then comeback and still win... kind of looks bad for rest of the hw division

It would be bad if Carwin won. Guy has zero personality. He isn't even a full-time fighter.
