I think the UFC should've held onto Kimbo for at least another fight. He'd be a good draw for their free-to-air shows like the Ultimate Finale, and Ultimate Fight Night events.

nah, let Kimbo go to Strikeforce. He's a 40 something yearold guy with weak legs. Couple of good leg kicks and you can kick his legs right out from under him.

weird move from Dana considering that was a fight advertised on commercial and helped sell the event. Usually when he can make money from someone he keeps them without worrying about fight performance.

Kimbo will be ok, he's still a big draw. As far as Daley, i kinda feel bad for the guy. What he did was terrible, but Josh Koscheck is a complete douche, i would have wanted to punch the guy too.

kimbo is done, he's so old and his legs are terrible. i was thinking while watching the match if this guy doesnt pull through its over for him and that happened. daley kind of dug his own grave throwing that punch after the fight, koscheck has always been a cunt, but its not worth it at the end of the day. sucks for daley but he has to pay the price for his actions.

After his buildup online I think the best thing he could have done was go into pro wrestling. Kimbo has the look and the charisma to be a star, but (at least at his current age) he doesn't have the athletic ability to be a top MMA fighter. Pro wrestling would have been perfect for him with his skill set. Now after his losses in MMA he doesn't have the same mystique he had prior to his MMA career, and a lucrative contract with WWE or TNA doesn't seem quite as likely.

I guess Daley's actions warranted the result, but I think Koscheck should deserve no less the same punishment for the embellishment and the way he acted as well.

I agree. Keep him off PPV's, but give him one more shot on a free event as the opening tv fight, if he loses that one, his record falls below .500 and it's sayonara.

yeah I was SHOCKED daley got cut, I figured he would be suspended or something, fined. Not dropped all together. One reporter asked Dana if Daley was still going to get paid for the fight. What a moron

The athletic commission imposes the fines. I don't believe the UFC would have the legal right to withhold payment for something that happens post fight.
