Mike Brown Personal Problems before match, people expected loss
I lost big time on a parlay involving Mike Brown...... heard the interview on Versus Dana White saying Mike Brown had personal problems, including breaking up with his girlfriend and he went missing for 14 camp days....... something like that.... and they were expecting he may lose.

Well he may have lost anyways but still would have been better if this info was leaked before.

blah blah...... im tired of this personal problems crap. i never understood people not being mentally ready. even if somethings happened to you, the second the bell rings you should be ready. After your opponent throw his first punch, you should KNOW youre in a fight and its time to throwdown

Don't fight if you're going to make excuses after. If your life is a problem you can't handle, then fighting is a problem you can't handle. How stupid can a fighter be to go in a fight not mentally or physically ready? Fighters are supposed to be strong, many of them have had rough pasts. The rough pasts only make them stronger come fight time. Any excuse come fight time makes a fighter look weak and pathetic.

I guess when his girlfriend left she took his balls with her.

It's the effect on your preperation which is going to effect you in the fight no matter if you forget about your problems once the bell rings.

To me, it doesnt seem as easy as just don't fight. You have bills to pay, sponsors rely on you. Brown just started fighting full time, it would be very tough on him to pull out of a fight. Personel problems can effect many peoples professional lives to some extent, I don't see how a fighter would be any different. I havnt seen anyone on any message board who is actual familiar with his situation and I didnt hear Mike Brown make any excuses himself. Hopefully, he gets over his issues and will right the ship.

Excuses excuses. I think the right thing to do is accept the loss and give your opponent his due credit. It might not be Mike Brown himself, or even his camp who is coming up with his excuse. Whoever it is, they need to accept that the guy lost. Manny Gamburyan won fair and square.

This doesn't explain why he got destroyed in the first round. Manny was the better man.

Manny beat him square. Personal problem or not, when you are fighting i dont think breaking up with your girlfriend is the first thing to come to mind.
