Rounds O/U

Ok I am new to Boxing but I have to ask how many of these fights really go over 11.5 rounds? Is it normal for these guys to really beat the crap out of eachother for more then 11.5 rounds. I mean how long is a round 5 mins maybe. I am really confused on the O/U Rounds thing. Any info would be helpful.

three min rounds and yes many do go the full 12

Just reading your post, the advice is simple --- don't.

Styles make fights in this sport, so laying chalk in boxing is ill advised. Lines tend to be made based on belts, public perception, and common opponents. And all of that is irrelevant.

Watch the fights and pick up on tendencies. You'll find the value lies in ML's. A lot of money to be made on dogs.
