    Kelly Pavlik vs. Sergio Martinez
    Who do you like here?

Money came in heavy early on Martinez, but then turned around and came in even heavier on Pavlik. Currently -175 Pavlik at thegreek.

Kelly Pavlik is healthy and should come back with a vengeance.

I like Martinez here. Pavlik has demolished guys who stand in front of him, but he had a lot of trouble dealing with B-Hop's movement. Martinez is more mobile than B-Hop and will be circling the whole fight. I see this as playing out a lot like Martinez's fight against Kermit Cintron, only without all the BS refereeing and scoring.

IDK man Pav looks so good at times, but he's just not a dominant fighter, he had Jermaine's number, but that B-Hop fight scared me -170 is good value in my opinion

I think the Hopkins fight should be totally disregarded. Pavlik was sick and moved up in weight.

can't really think of a single fighter that B-hop didn't make look bad, even in the fights he has lost

I kind of Pavlik, but its a no play for me. He needs to get back to looking like his old self before I lay that much chalk on him. Especially against somebody as good as Martinez

Martinez loses close fights for a reason. He leaves his chin open too much. He takes several rounds off. And he's too small for Pavlik at 160. Even though I think Kelly's confidence is shot and this is a nightmare matchup for him, this fight is in his favor.

Odds should be closer to even though. -130 for Pavlik, tops.

To me Martinez is the far better boxer, he just tends to coast in fights and pulls his punches too much. Pavlik is the small favorite based on his name but if Martinez can stay away and peck with his jab he could win easily on points. Of course, since he is not the "name" fighter he may get Malignaggi-ed.

I'll take Martinez at this price in a fight that I think is a pick 'em at worst.

BTW, when I made the poll I meant which side do you think is the better bet, not which fighter is more likely to win.

This is exactly why the odds were too high and I couldn't bet this. Pavlik is so mentally weak and gets discouraged easily. You could hear his trainer talking him off the ledge half the fight.

Anybody who had the balls to actually play Martinez after the Cintron and Williams' decisions deserved to cash. I just didn't trust him after the middle rounds and he took that fight over. Great performance.

I didn't see the bout, but apparently it was a fairly one sided beating. Martinez is the new Middleweight Champ! Apparently Pavlik has a rematch clause, but I think the fight everyone wants to see is a rematch against Paul Williams.
