Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the king of shoulder rolls, pullbacks, anticipation, and counterpunching. Shane Mosley employs precise head movement, impeccable technique and ring vision to make his foes miss. The nod goes to Mayweather however because of reaction speed. Just like in baseball when a contact hitter goes from being a .330 hitter to a .280 hitter towards the twilight of his career, so does a defensive fighters ability to slip shots. While it is an not an obvious, or tangible slip-up, when a fighters reaction speed dims, the signs can be recognized. Shane Mosely at age-38-years old, with over 350+ rounds fought as a pro, along with countless amateur bouts has some wear and tear. Mosley still is capable at fighting at a high level but his reaction time has slowed down. Mosley no longer has the knee-jerk reflex speed that made boxing pundits call him “Sugar”. By nature Mosley is also more of a fighter than boxer and he sticks his beak right into the fire more often than he should at times. Mayweather is not without flaws on defense either with a penchant for being too defensive and somewhat flat-footed. Mayweather is not on the level of amazing defensive stylist Pernell “Sweet Pea” Whitaker but he is still a 10 on D. The Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Shane Mosley Boxing Betting Line gives May weather a 79% chance of winning on the moneyline.
Mosley is no slouch on defense but Mayweather is a whiz that is one of the best of all-time at making guys miss. If this fight turns into a chess match Mayweather will outpoint Mosley.

Mayweather has a great ability over the ring. Still, the best ability is matching against opponent with big names who are either over the hill (Mosley), underweight (Márquez) or not too good (Hatton, Gatti).

        Floyd Mayweather easily...

I mean...count the times where you have seen PBF hit flush, or hurt?

A few times in the early rounds against Zab Judah...

He got stunned against Chop Chop Corley...

He was never hurt against Hatton, Delahoya...

Castillo tagged him a few times...

        But that's about it...

Coming from a Hater and a guy who wants PBF do lose....I can say that PBF is easily one of the best boxers in the past 50 years.

This fight is probably going to play out like Mayweather v. De La Hoya. There is no way Mayweather is going to commit enough to get hit by anything meaningful.
