Paul Daley is +210 vs Koscheck
This just opened within the last day or two at Bodog. Am I crazy for seeing great value here in Daley? He's got great power and hand speed. All he has to do is clip Koscheck once getting up in a scramble and it's over. I respect Kos's wrestling but these odds should be a lot closer to even IMO.

mma lines hardly ever reflect true odds. theyre heavily influenced by media and public opinion.
there is value but it will only climb in his favor as the fight comes closer. kos is a fighter with superb wrestling. he's a smart fighter coming from a good camp. the gameplan he comes in to the fight will only reflect it.
there's always going to be value in a fight, its your job to distinguish value vs odds of upset

Bet now if you want Daley he is getting one way action at the moment. I'm waiting for the Koscheck line to improve and then I think I'll make a small play on him.

like Koscheck would stand with him. this is going to be a wrestling lesson for Daley, learned the hard way.

if anything people will rely too heavily on Daley's UFC ko's. His entire career has been hindered by his sub par grappling and non existent wrestling. He can ko kos, but i think line should be -300.

if you like daley i'd bet now... if you like kos i'd wait.

at more than 2-1 i'd take daley.

people hate Kos, they want him to lose so big bets will come in on Daley. he certainly has a chance to knock him out... i want him to win.

I thought Anthony Johnson would of/should of knocked out Kos but that didnt happen. Kos will do the same thing to Daley. Daley will get a lesson in wrestling 101.

Johnson's striking is technically mediocre compared to Daleys

Daley at +220 is hella sweet. Dalyes improved his takedwon defense, and has some of the best striking in mma. The last guy koscheck faced that had striking close to the level of Daley was Alves, and Alves beat the **** outta him. At +220 Daleys definitely worth a play.

But Koschek was on crazy pills back then and wanted to prove he can stand, I think he's accepted the fact that wrestling is and will be his "thing", and its absolutely destructive otherwise.

I would only take that if you think Daley can knockout Koschek within the first two rounds. Which I think he can. Otherwise Josh should try his best to wrestle this fight to a decision.

I think i will play anything for Daley over +200...anything under and i'd probably avoid.

If anthony johnson couldn't beat kosh then I don't think daley has much of a chance. He's shorter and stockier with arguably the same power but no wrestling backround unlike aj. Kosh will take this guy down with ease and gnp him.

if i can get +240 or better before the fight i might make a small play on him, in the alves fight i dont think he was trying to completely abandon his wrestling, if i remember correctly Alves was able to easily shake off his first few take down attempts....

Seems like all Koscheck's fights start him off way higher than what he ends up being.

I would just wait for the Prop bet of Daley by TKO/KO, I'm sure the odds will be a little better than they currently stand at, and obviously thats pretty much the ONLY way Daley's going to win the fight.

And I'm not too sure Kos won't give Daley the opportunity to stand for a little bit at least. Kos has that ego that makes him think he's a good striker, and granted his striking has vastly improved, he's still not going to win a striking battle with Daley, so it's just a matter of if he actually sticks to the gameplan. Hopefully he watches the Shields/Daley fight and realizes the ground will be his best friend.

I think that's not too far off for Daley. Kos should put him on his back and do some damage.

I just need to see more out of Daley in the UFC before I's completely sold. I have been a big fan of his for many years, and it is hard to get some of his past performances out of my head. He always swore his takedown defense was improved. Yet, it never did. He didnt do anything in his first 2 ufc fights to show me anything different.
