My MMA Picks/Disc Thread

These are my picks for the initial UFC card on Versus with Jon Jones v Brandon Vera as the headliner. I'll list for anyone that wants to tail and am open to discussion on anything, I don't think odds at time placed vary that greatly from now.

10u Brendan Shaub
4.5u Jon Jones

2u John Howard (in some ways I'm more confident in him winning than Jones but at same odds I can't quite justify)

2u Jason Brilz (Shafer is gonna get beat on the whole fight or is getting knocked out by a haymaker)

2u Elliot Marshall (Outpoints Matyushenko on the feet to a decision or possibly submits him)

2u Darren Elkins (Takes Bang down with ease and submits him but can't load up for the obvious reason of one single TD stuffed and he might get knocked out)

1u Alessio Sakara (momentum is starting to go his way in picks it seems but you can never trust that chin too much)

.5u Paul Buentello (complete value bet he probably loses, more a fade of Kongo at these odds)

.5 Gabriel Gonzaga (again value bet because he could win on the ground and has power as well, Dos Santos track record is still not that long)

I think Guida and Pierce win easily but I don't like to play at those odds for a fight.

I don't like him at those odds. It was either no play or small value bet on Gonzaga at long odds but GL if you bet big on Dos Santos

Great job man , if I was at a book that let me parlay MMA i wouldn't value bet some guys and instead would parlay me some big favs myself sometimes.

ha same here. I did parlay on Kongo, Pierce and Miller and parlayed on Kongo, Jones and Guida. Also won 5 units on Schaub. 5 out of 5 good night for betting.
