Junior Dos Santos (-255) for 4 Units
Most people know of Junior Dos Santos as a dangerous striker from his brief UFC career, which is definitely true. He's knocked out the likes of Fabricio Werdum, an ADCC HW Champion, the 6'11" monster Stefan Struve, the ever dangerous Mirko CroCop Flipovic, and kickboxing superstar Gilbert Yvel.

What people don't know, is that Junior Dos Santos is a highly skilled brown belt of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and is also very skilled on the ground. He trains his BJJ at Team Black House under Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Demian Maia. While Gabriel Gonzaga's ground game is definitely top notch, and may be surperior as their belt rankings suggest (Gonzaga is a black belt), I have no doubt in my mind that Dos Santos' experience on the ground will allow him to escape the possible submission attempts Gonzaga might be able to try.

Gonzaga's downfall has always been against fighters with quick hands. He lost by KO to Shane Carwin most recently, He also got TKOed against Fabricio Werdum twice, and got KOed by Randy Couture back at UFC 74. His soft chin is well documented, and I look for Dos Santos to Knock him out in the first round. Even, if for some reason that doesn't happen, I look for the high altitude to come in to effect, and that will really hurt Gonzaga as he's not exactly known for his hard work ethic, or good cardio.

James Irvin (+100) risking 1 Unit
Far superior fighter, and the line is way off, IMO. Irvin should be a 2-1 favorite.

Buentello is a tuff man but kongos a beast..I think a big guy with good cardio could giov kongo what for..those elbows by kongo are crippling in later life and buentallo wants to walk in ten years..cant blame him he put up a fight anyways

I'm taking experience in this one. I know Jones is dangerous, but Vera's muay thai is unrightfully getting overshadowed here. Bookmaker is currently hanging the nice number.

Nice Value in Vera @ +215, but Jones will dictate where the fight is going IMO, (it is jon jones fight to lose) Bones is just as fast or faster and much more stronger than "the truth". Parlaying Dos Santos & "Bones" for a smidgen less than even money. Gonna win back my money I lost on the Tex. A&M chokers.... or just get in a bigger hole.

After seeing Gonzaga get brutally knocked out against Carwin, I totally saw another viscious KO coming. You know what they say: once you get knocked out bad your even more prone for another one next time around.
