look at the score card. Clottey did not fight. If he wanted to tire pacman down, OK. But he didn't even try the last 3 rounds. He threw 3 punches in the last 1 minute of the 12th round!!! wtf! He never tried to win the match. Even his coach was calling him a pussy for not "chancing" anything.

Worse 12 round match I've seen ever. There is more action in pacman's 4 hour workout against a punching bag.

pretty good post. He was not agreeing with his trainer who said he needed to take some chances. He was happy to get all 12 rounds in and walk out 35-4.

Ced I'm telling you if he opened up with 3 rounds he would be knocked the fuk out within a doubt of my mind. I think he had the right strategy but he didn't pull the trigger quite enough to give himself a chance to stun pacquiao.

I agree to that, I guess in the end it was the best strategy because of Pac's stamina and speed, he frustrated him after being able to hit him on the cheek, that was a good one. Clottey should've thrown more punches though, the difference of landed punches was incredible between the two fighters, bacuse of the different strategies that is. He had lots of chances, but Pac's a really hard boxer.

I agree with everything you said; Clottey wanted to finish on his feet and was afraid to get kod; he didn't lay down, but was just outclassed.

Dunno if he should be praised or not; he could have chosen a soft spot and taken a 10 count on the first good punch landed by Pac; he took his lumps for 12 rds, to his credit..
