I would lay the house on holyfield, Tyson doesn't like to get hit and only would be fighting because he needs the money. Holyfield on the other hand, may be off in the head from too many shots, but he still stays in shape and wants to fight because he mistakenly thinks he can be heavyweight champ again.

Iron Mike is Messiah Type. The most entertaining fighter of my lifetime. The best fighter of my lifetime for many years. Getting locked up ruined his career.
I rooted for him every fight he ever had. he represents a lot of things that people should respect. Coming from where he came from and doing what he did was such a longshot!!!!!!!!!!1
Only hard work put him there and then everyday devils took him down. Drugs - Alcohol - Money - Greed - Sex -
It's a shame. Had more talent than most.

Pretty sure protective earpieces are mandatory in the fight contract for Holyfield

If you're an 80's baby and you say Iron Mike isn't one of your favorites then you got some problems. Iron Mike is that dude. If anybody knows boxing they know Holyfield's whole intent of Tyson vs. Holyfield I & II was to headbutt Tyson when they went inside. It wasn't hard to see. The only problem was Tyson wasn't versatile enough to dance and box him, especially when he had a jailhouse temper.

I would love to see this fight happen, but Iron Mike would take atleast 6 months to train for a fight like this cause he's so out of shape. They'd be aging during the training process. Not good.

As a kid in the 80's, Iron Mike was the guy you wanted to grow up to be like.. Every little kids hero.. What a waste of so much talent..

These 2 don't need to fight anymore.. Too much age on them both.. But boxing needs this.. If this happened, it may be the biggest fight boxing has seen in years.. Viewer numbers would be thrugh the roof.. I guess time will tell what will happen with this..

If nothing else, one of these old men will get injured training. Things will have to fall perfectly for this fight to ever happen.

truly speaks to the sad state of boxing and certainly the heavyweights as this is the most anticipated fight in the heavyweight division in some time...seriously this is the most exciting heavyweight match out there...who the hell wants to watch one of the Klitzcos (however you spell it) tall asses just paw at someone who doesnt have the guts to walk through there jab ...those tall fuks dont even throw punches with bad intentions yet they dont really have to.....really sucks

This is really no different than the UFC bringing in Tony or Slice and Strikeforce bringing in Walker. It's for the money, same reason they wanted Anderson Silva to box. A lot of people may think this is going to be a terrible fight, but it will sell tickets and make a lot of money if it happens. Also it has the potential of bringing back old boxing fans who haven't been as interested in the sport lately.
