    ufc 110
hi guys, haven't posted here but have else where so i will keep my record for easy tracking
looks like a great bunch of fight guys here.

ben rothwell is out due to illness and a very small anthony perosh(10-5) fills in. most notable win was a recent KO over fellow ufc 110 debuter Te Huna.
cro cop should kill this guy, he is not that big, he depends mainly on submissions, cro cop should be able to push him and not be pushed. plus if it goes down and cro cop is on his back there is no worries, cro cop has excellent ground defence.
nol line yet but it will be high

gone this weekend and pressed for time so i will list me plays i'm going with this weekend and give a quick "bottomline"
    YTD: 12-9 -1.50*

    nog vs. velasquez(-110) $50

BOTTOMLINE: nog looked really good against couture but i think his technical boxing and combinations will deter cain only temporaily before he swings an overhand right, closes the gap and lands takedowns at will. should cain press forward by shooting in he will gain top control everytime. so i see cain scoring more real points with takedowns and top control. nog's guard submissions and sweeps i feel r his only chance. so i will go with cain who doesn't need to do 1 thing to win.

    rothwell vs. cro cop(-140) $100

BOTTOMLINE: the old cro cop in a ring wins this easily. rothwell doesn't have the foot movement and speed to close off a ring. however in a cage he can get inside work the clinch and press cro cop on the fence. rothwell has a chance but cro cop has completely changed his focus and training i HAVE to believe he finally lets those legs go and kicks a stationary target like rothwell to a victory.

bonnar vs. soszynski(-175) $25 parlay with rejlic to win $29

BOTTOMLINE: bonnar hasn't had a meaningful win in a longtime. in his last fight he wasn't able to use striking and mobility to gain and control over a flat footed lump like coleman. with soszynski he will face the same situation again but this cat strikes back. i see these guys even on there feet skill wise, no one holds a really advantage in skills, however "SOS" has serious power and bonnar has none. if "SOS" could hang in tough against vera's striking then he can hang with bonnar who has a tendency to strike in the pocket. i see bonanr getting rocked and placed on his back, "SOS" is not great but good enough to avoid any submissions enroute to a UDecision or a submission choke.

    pokrajac vs. te huna(-160) $50

BOTTOMLINE: te huna lands takedowns at will and controls and suffocates his opponent to a decision win. huna is just better.

    silva vs. bisping(+125) opinion

BOTTOMLINE: silva's lone win in the ufc was a straight up the gut raping of jardine. bisping's lone defeat(of course we cannot count hamil) was a devasting KO at the hands of dave henderson. logic tells us silva will eventually catch bisping and KO him. i see no reason why bisping cannot sand with silva who hoenstly willn't be able to connect. bispig can move and circle and silva will not land anything. i all seeing bisping shooting in and out wrestling him, hard to imagine but it needs to happen to win. bisping can run but he cannot run for 3 rounds so bisping via decision using stick and move and wrestling.

    haseman vs. sinosic(-130) $50

BOTTOMLINE: the man wit hthe greatest mma nickname gets a chance to revenge a 12 year defeat, fight in the ufc again and be the hometown hero. sinosic has always been a very good mma fighter. back in the day he had a bad record but lost against quality opponents putting up quality fights. he is well rounded with great submissions of his back. his defence sucks and his stiff upright stance leaves him open for power punches. haseman has fought once i believe in 5 to 7 years. he is in good shape but not mma shape, his one punch power shot and wrestling will be neutralized by sinosic and i feel after 4minutes he will gas and find himself in a submission.

    sotiropoulos vs. stevenson(-240) opinion

BOTTOMLINE: veteran wrestler and former #1 contender stevenson looks to spoil home town fighter "SOT" in what should be a decision win. stevenson has found a new light under the greg jackson camp learning to mix up his striking and go back to his wrestling roots. stevenson has a hard chin and patience, he will eventually close in on "SOT" sriking and put him on his back, "SOT" is savvy and slick with BJJ but steveson is a great fighter who has seen it all and "SOT" has yet to fight a quality opponent in his 4-0 ufc start. look for stevenson to feel out round 1 before dominatiing the next few rounds.

    bader vs. jardine(+135) opinion

BOTTOMLINE: bader is a great wrestler with explosive takedowns and good gorund in pound. he has power in his hands but has a lot of holes. if he gets this down early and keeps it down he can grind a win. jardine is a good wrestler himself and has submission skills so he can be a threat but ultimately i think jardine may be able to mix up the strikes land some leg kicks and slow the big van bader down. if that occurs and we see a 3rd round jardine has a chance. dog value in this one.

dolloway vs. rejlic(-210) $25 parlay with soszynski to win $29

BOTTOMLINE: if only this line was -155 to -175 as i thought it would've been. dolloway is much like bader, they are divison 1 wrestling champs, TUF alum, former roommates and arizona combat team mates. however dollaway has no offensive threat. he can only win gaining a takedown and ground and pound. rejlic is a serious striker with great low and high kicks and has a mat game to boot. he has unfornately only fought twice in 3 years and has been injury riddled. i think he can whether the early top control of dolloway, later on dolloway will break and opne himself to strikes and eventually a TKO.

    lytle vs foster(+145) $100

up an comer from matt hughes camp should have all the training and coaching to take this down quick and control the ground game. foster is young, fast and strong. lytle is coming off major surgery and has lost a step or two in his footwork, lytle's only objective lst few fights is to just bang, he can barely move anymore and doesn't look for any openings other than his fists. he is one tough SOB and a gamer. he has tremendous one shot power still but i have to feel with all the wars over the years and his age that foster can take this fight if he uses his skills. with hughes backing him he will have the right recipe to retire the legendry gate keeper. foster and the odds for me.

well thats it for me. as always, open for discussion and sorry for the poor grammar!!
