You rarelyever hear anything about boxings heavyweight division anymore. Since Tyson bit off Holyfield's ear, and everyone else has disappointed the ring, there has not been a true champion. What is up, no heavyweights want to box anymore?

I hear Holyfield is due to fight again sometime soon.I think that just about sums up how bad the heavyweight division is.

Have to disagree with this.

True, the heavyweight division is a joke, but boxing as a whole is fine. There have already been a number of great fights this year (Cotto/Judah, Williams/Margarito and Marquez/Vazquez), and the this fall offers some of the best matchups in years - Calzaghe/Kessler, Mosley/Cotto, Pavlik/Taylor.

Just ignore the heavyweight division.

Ya got to stick to things you know, bro . How uninformed and uneducated a statement. Check out the 6 rounds between Israel Vazquez and Rafael Marquez after there amazing 7 rounds earlier this year. Ever heard of them? 07 will be boxing's best year in a while. Check out middleweight Kelly Pavlik's thrashing of hardman Miranda. Now Pavlik will crush current champ Taylor if he dares fight with him. Too many other good fights to mention.

Holyfield showed up in the WWE over the weekend. That tells you how about the dire straits the Heavyweight div. is in.

Michael Moorer is set to fight one of the Russian very soon in Russia. He might be the last hope. Problem is that he will be giving up a lot of size. I think the movement to the UFC has been the killer in boxing.
