#37Joe Doerksen will step in on short notice to face Tom Lawlor in a middleweight matchup at the top of UFC 113's non-televised card.
Sources close to the event today confirmed the change to MMAjunkie.com and said Lawlor's original opponent, Tim Credeur, has been forced to withdraw from the fight due to an undisclosed injury.Comment -

#39Right now I'm liking the value in Koscheck and Mitrione...
Koscheck should dictate the pace of that fight, and unless he decides to stand and bang with Daley, he'll fare well.
And I'll have to review Mitrione's fights, but I seem to remember him having a semi decent guard??? Although, that match will likely end standing, so it might not come into play. First haymaker landed wins...Comment -

#40lol I have the exact opposite of your picks, I'm liking Daley and KimboOriginally posted by Educ8d Degener8Right now I'm liking the value in Koscheck and Mitrione...

Daley does have weak submission defense but I doubt Kos can finish him with a submission. I think Kos would try to take him down and try to out work him GSP style and I see Daley trying to avoid those situations as much as possible.
The last two fights that Kos has lost were against Paulo Thiago and Thiago Alves who are both crazy strikers and I think that would account for something in this fight
and for the Kimbo fight, nothing much here both very inexperienced guys in MMA, and Mitrione technically only has one official fight in the UFC where he KO'd Marcus Glass Chin Jones, I think Kimbo throws us a curve ball by showing us his somewhat improved ground game but if that doesnt happen its going to be a Mitrione vs Junk repeat where both guys are gassed by round 2
my two cents anywaysComment -

#43A source close to the event informed MMAjunkie.com today that UFC veteran Jason MacDonald will face John Salter on the non-televised portion of "UFC 113: Machida vs. Shogun II."
Salter was due to face UFC veteran David Loiseau, but "The Crow" was not cleared by the local athletic commission, as earlier reported by The Canadian Press.Comment -

#541 unit on Cote/Belcher to go to decision at 2/1
1 unit on Stout/Stephens to go to decision at 12/5
Very confident at least one of these 2 will definitely go to decision so at very least should make at least a unit profit.
Will also be putting a unit on Mitrione (at evens) currently but hoping my slightly improve closer to fight, and small play on Koscheck to win by submission currently at 11/4.
1 unit on Parlay 1: Davis and Lawler
1 unit on Parlay 2: Hague and Guymon or Hendricks depending on odds.Comment -

#55Yes. First impression was I didn't really like it. But I haven't given it a whole lot of time yet so I may grow to like it. Last year was excellent, but had its flaws. It seems like you can spam punches a lot easier than last year's game. My friend kept punching me in the face and I couldn't move, couldn't block, and couldn't punch. TKO's come way to fast. It only takes like 3 punches to get KOd. You have to be very close to hit people. They took away the distance of lunging punches. The game moves really fluid though and looks great, but that doesn't matter much when the gameplay isn't good.Originally posted by GoGoGadgetAnyone try the UFC undisputed 2010 demo?Comment -

#61Well, from a marketing standpoint they should. Machida deserves every bit of credit he gets, but for a casual fan his fighting style is dull and boring. Rua's wild muay thai would be much more marketable and profitable for Zuffa and the UFC. We shouldn't forget that Dana White is a businessman first, and a fight promoter second
