    Some UFC News
While it's countryman and Team Rough House teammate Dan Hardy who will next face St-Pierre, Daley could certainly find himself in title contention with another win over a top contender. With victories over Hazelett and Martin Kampmann already to Daley's credit, White said he believes "Semtex" has earned a shot at one of the 170-pound divisions top fighters, namely Jon Fitch (21-3 MMA, 11-1 UFC) or Josh Koscheck (14-4 MMA, 13-3 UFC).
I would love to see Daley vs Koscheck. Then Daley could take on Fitch or Alves next.

After confirming on Saturday that former PRIDE lightweight champion Takanori Gomi (31-5 MMA, 0-0 UFC) had signed with the UFC, company boss Dana White was mum on details about his first opponent.

However, when told that ESPN's "MMA Live" program posted a Twitter message saying co-host and top lightweight contender Kenny Florian (12-4 MMA, 10-3 UFC) could be Gomi's first challenge, White smirked.
I like this match up. I also think Frankie Edgar vs Takanori Gomi would be a good match up.

Despite his win over fellow top contender Thiago Silva in the main event of this past Saturday's UFC 108 event, former champ Rashad Evans won't get an immediate title shot.

Instead, UFC president Dana White plans to have Evans (14-1-1 MMA, 9-1-1 UFC) settle his grudge match against Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (30-7 MMA, 5-1 UFC), and he thinks the fight could happen at a UFC 113 event expected to take place May 1 in Montreal.
Evans doesn't deserve a title shot for winning one fight. Winner of this gets Machida/Shogun winner. I'd like to see the losers fight each other too.

    Interesting stuff.

Rashad-Rampage can't happen fast enough for me.

Daley looked good, i'd like to see him fight GSP next before he fights a Fitch or Koscheck who will likely grind him out and cool off his "buzz" he's gotten in his last 2 KO's. Dos Santos also looked great can't wait to see his next fight, Kongo or Hardonk seem fitting with Mir/Carwin and Nog/Velasquez already taken.

I couldn't help but laugh after Cole Miller won, and runs over to shout and get Dana's attn, to brag about how awesome he is.

        LOL, calm down Cole Miller.

I think Daley will get Koscheck next, since Fitch is getting Alves and Swick will fight Paulo. I'm really interested in Demian Maia's next fight. It's his 1st loss I want to see how he will bounce back. He's a Jiu Jitsu expert and considering the dedication needed for that type of knowledge, I wonder if he could translate that into striking or defensive knowledge and improve there if he wants to go with the no harm approach still.

GSP v Daley not a good match up it will look like the Alves fight where GSP got injured and still dominated. Scary thing is GSP is alot bigger and has been working hard on his wrestling namly with Rashad Evans.

Alves v Daley would be the best fight! This has NO chance of going the distance, both are massive and brilliant strikers. Make this fight happen!

GSP is a bad matchup for anyone, he can used his wrestling skills on everyone in the WW division. i'm calling for GSP/Daley because it would be a fresh fight for GSP, not a rematch like Fitch/Kos/Alves. Hardy has earned a shot with UFC wins over Swick/Davis(Split)/Markham/Gono(split). I think Daely two ko wins over Kampmann/Hazelet make him deserving if your are looking for a fresh matchup with GSP.
