One guy got famous by beating cans like Brad Imes, Stephan Bonnar, and Jason Lambert, knocking out white guy after white guy, forcing white America to actually believe that Rashad is anything but another TUF can. Then he beat the two great white hypes, Chuck and Forrest, causing white America perceive Rashad as the evil black champion. Too bad he fought one real fighter and got knocked the hell out.
The other guy never fought anyone good until Machida, but he has knockouts over Jardine and Alexander.
So lets compare...one guy is overrated because he was on TUF. The other guy had to earn his spot in the UFC and has a knockout victory on Jardine.
There's a lot of value in Thiago at +175...but if you're white you probably have nightmares of Rashad and actually think he's a quality fighter.
The bet of the century would've been Rampage -115 vs Rashad, seeing as how Rampage has a career and Rashad's just a can crusher, but we'll have to settle for Thiago at +175.
