Benoit was sent home on Thursday to deal with some family issues. It was expected that he would be able to return in time for last nights PPV Vegence. That did not happen as he did not show for the PPV.
Now we find out that him and his family have been found dead and local authorities are investigating. A sad day in history and tonights Raw will be a tribute to Chris and his career. The rabid wolverine will be missed by many and never duplicated. The pure intensity of the man is beyond words. RIP Chris and family.

Intense sports attract intense people.
Boxing,football,wrestling and hockey to some extent=skill&crazy guts.You have to have a few screws missing to be in it and to excel.Tillman who went from the Phoenix Cardinals to getting killed in Afghanistan is a perfect example of aggressive crazy guts.The guy used to climb the light poles at the stadium in Arizona to meditate.
More passive sports like golf are almost all skill and baseball is a leisurely athletic skill game.Slobby pear shaped guys like Craig Stadler won't be murdered,die in a war or commit suicide,get shot in a drug deal or kill his wife.Stadler will die eating a Big Mac in bed.Comment -

I still believed this was all staged until a couple of hours ago.
I haven't watched regularly in over 10 years and am not overly familiar with Benoit, but this is certainly an interesting case that my heart goes out to. The police in Georgia have already ruled this a double murder/suicide, but beyond that I remain clueless. It's extremely interesting that he took skipped out on a PPV main event for family issues PRIOR to this all happening. I'm surprised this hasn't garnered more mainstream media attention. If anyone knows anything else please clue us in....

Breaking: Benoit Kills Family Over 3 Day Period

Sources in the Fayette County Police Department are now working under the theory that Chris Benoit killed Nancy on Saturday, son Daniel on Sunday, and then killed himself earlier today.
Benoit was found dead in his weight room. Nancy was found dead in the living room. Daniel was found dead in his bedroom, accordig t an unnamed source in the department.
Lt. Tommy Pope told ABC News "the instruments of death were located on the scene," but didn't specify what those were or where they were found. Pope said the department was not actively searching for any suspects outside the house
