Which sportsbook have more/earlier boxing lines?
Lately the sportsbooks have been offering fewer lines on boxing, and the ones that still post them usually take longer to do it. A few months ago Pinnacle stopped posting weekly boxing lines; now they only post megafights a few weeks in advance. Most possibly they were losing money and choose to stop the bleeding.

Now there are less choices, and only the European fights get a line early enough. For example, this week there are no lines right now (thursday night in America, early Friday morning in Europe) for many world championship fights: Hasegawa-Perez, Rebeco-Arango, Soto-Chavez, CermeƱo-Valdez, Canchilla-Casimerio and Valero-Velazquez. Most possibly Cruz-Castillo would also not have line, if there was not postponed a few weeks ago after the line was posted.

Currently the most comprehensive book for boxing maybe is Bet365, with most important European fights posted about one week in advance. Later they offer for the most important fights the round betting and the 5-option bet. However, their juice is large.

For better odds, I have been using TheGreek and 5dimes; 5 dimes sometimes put their "reduced juice" line in megafights, with odds even better than pinnacle. However, currently they are late to post odds for American fights, often allowing just a few hours to bet.

So, where are you getting your lines? Are you doing better than me?

I made a similar comment on a boxing forum. I don't think anybody hung a total on the Hasegawa bout, and there wasn't a line on the winner as of 3PM pacific time... only a few hours before the fight. It's as if the bookies are afraid to take action. 5dimes in particular has seemed to take a big step back.

In addition to 5D and Greek, Bodog is a pretty decent boxing book. They'll generally hang lines on whatever Greek and Bodog have, but they're not afraid to have an opinion. They seem to base their lines off what the sportsbook.com family offers. Speaking of which, if you can stomach keeping your money with sbook and deal with occasionally high juice, they are a pretty good out as well. They often beat 5D and Greek to the punch in hanging a line first, hang lines on many bouts, and will occasionally be quite opinionated.

I wouldn't keep cash in Matchbook just for boxing, but if you're betting other sports then you can occasionally get the best price on a fight with them. Sportbet seems to hang lines on a decent variety of fights, but from what I've seen their prices are very vanilla.

I'm interested to hear what people think of betphoenix as a boxing out as I've heard stories of people finding attractive lines there.

The Hasegawa fight was on at Bet365 for a few minutes! It opened at -1200/600, and before I could jump at that price, it moved to -1600/700. So I was about to took the under 7.5 o162/u -225, but the fight was off by then. Amazing, it lasted 10 minutes or so.
