UFC 107: The Nightmare Before Xmas
    DIEGO SANCHEZ +225
    BJ PENN -285

The UFC lightweight champion BJ Penn (15-4-1) is defending his golden cummerbund once again. After suffering a brutal loss to GSP at 170 pounds; Penn is looking to make it two wins in a row in the 155 pound weight class. The king of lightweights had no problem dispatching the previous number one contender, Kenny Florian. Blessed with boxing, jiu jitsu, takedown defense, and a leather face that can not be cut, BJ Penn is a difficult challenge.

Diego "Nightmare" Sanchez (23-2) has deemed himself ready for that challenge. Often forgotten is the fact that Sanchez was the other winner of the first season of the Ultimate Fighter. Now he looks to become the fourth TUF winner to capture a belt.

Like an orangutan on crack, Sanchez's fighting style is all over the place, but in a good way. His mental game is frightening and equally crazy. He talks about chi, yin, yang, samurais, and all sorts of messed up shit. But the craziest thing he has done lately was calling out BJ Penn saying "I'm going to race you to the center of that ring, playa." This makes me think he is more demented than a homeless man. It's like wearing a meat necklace when you're hanging out with rottweilers: DUMB.
    BJ PENN -285

    CHEICK KONGO +160
    FRANK MIR -185

The cockiest of all cocks, Frank Mir (12-4) looks to gather the pieces after having his face blended by Brock Lesnar. After defeating a feeble and diseased Nogueira and hitting Lesnar once, Mir seems to think his stand up is among MMA's elite. He also seems to think his shit doesn't stink. He is sadly mistaken in both accounts. Unarguable though is the fact that Mir has one of the best submission games ever among heavyweights. Frank Mir has more knowledge of what to do on his back than Jenna Jameson does.

Cheick Kongo (24-5-1) strong like bull. Cheick Kongo hit you; you fall down. Cheick Kongo no like ground. There is a hole in the game of Cheick Kongo equivalent to the size of the hole in the Ozone layer. Kryptonite is to Superman as Ground Game is to Cheick Kongo.

    KONGO'S GROUND GAME

The strength of ten mules will not save Kongo from the imminent tap out at the hands of Mir. If the black Conan the Barbarian had any takedown defense, the outcome might be different. But the truth is my grandmother could take Kongo down. Mir is smart fighter. And as long as his ego doesn't make him believe he can out strike Kongo, Mir should win. Once Mir takes the fight to the ground it should end faster than the first time I had sex (13 seconds).
    FRANK MIR -185

    CLAY GUIDA +165
    KENNY FLORIAN -205

MMA... SO EASY CLAY GUIDA CAN DO IT

Ugh. Clay Guida (25-10) like to fight. And he fights just like he looks: like a caveman. Guida fights all out and comes after you like he's trying to club a dinosaur. Exciting to watch, Guida makes up for his lack of talent with his intensity.

Kenny Florian (13-4) is looking to rebound from his loss to BJ Penn. Florian is near the top of the heap at 155 pounds and has more Thai skills than Billy Blanks. His elbows are sharper than a meat cleaver.

This fight is heart vs technique. Guida has lost a few extremely close split decisions to better competition. Florian has to start his climb to the top all over again after suffering a defeat to Penn. I like the caveman to club out a close decision as Florian has a letdown.
    CLAY GUIDA +165

    KEVIN BURNS +105
    TJ GRANT -135

What do Bon Jovi, John Travolta, Michael Jackson, Luke Skywalker, and Kevin Burns all have in common?

    BUTT CHIN

Do not doubt the power of the butt chin. Kevin Burns (8-3) has a huge advantage over TJ Grant (14-3) simply due to the crevice on his mandible. Grant is going to be so worried about getting touched with it that he will leave himself open. Burns by submission due to butt chin.
    KEVIN BURNS +105

Guida over Florian eh? It sounds about right as I'm like, 0-50 betting against "my guys" as of late. Why not one more?

As an aside, The Hallucination Before Christmas is this huge annual scary Christmas-themed rave type thingy they do in Tampa. It's tonight actually.

Hoffy you should go to one with me. We could do some sid and shrooms and get silly with funny hats and wigs and glasses and stuff. Oh man we would have fun.

            No?

I wonder what it must be like to be Tito and have your wife be the butt of endless on-your-back/gaping-hole/hotdog-down-a-hallway jokes! Other than that I disagree with your butt-chin analysis
