    Hamill Vs Jones
Only one thing is keeping me from betting hamill and that is jones new training with greg jacksons camp.

If this was the same jones that we have seen in the cage against jake, bonnar and gusmao, I would have strong confidence in hamill too win and would be it large. This seems like the setup for anthony johnson/koscheck all over again.

I believe hamill has a big wrestling advantage over jones, we are talking juco compared to the real deal, hamill can take a punch and striking is well improved.

However, I know this will be the best jones we have seen and his gameplan will be dangerous. Jones,(from his interviews) seems to have confidence hamill is not a better wrestler than him and won't be able to land a td, so if/when hamill lands that first takedown and enforces some GnP, jones could break down mentally.

Hamill at +200 has a ridiculous amount of value, definitely parlay material for me.

Did Kos really beat AJ? I'm still shaking my head at that outcome.

i wish i would have bet that one heavy, every ounce of me was telling me kos but I was scared of this AJ mystique. I think jones has the samething image going for him except much better training.

I orginally was thinking the same way, but the more I read and watch, the more I think Jones deserves to be -260 at a minimum. Jones had offer to wrestle at University of Iowa, but couldnt make grades and had to go Juco. He would be at Iowa now if he didnt leave school to take care of his child.

The guy is a phenom. He took the Gusmao fight on 3 weeks notice after training MMA for about half of year. Great athlete, both of his brothers play football at Syracuse and the one should be first round draft pick.

GSP long time trainer is quoted saying that he believes Jones will "clean out the division"

Just things to consider... we dont know about his chin, or his ability to fight off of his back.

But Hamill does not seem to keep people down. Hamill also keeps his hands very low and is considerably slower than Jones. I think he will get battered on the feet.

I do have a .5 unit bet on Hamill from an earlier line that I wish I could get out of now.

          Great value....

          I see Jon Jones winning...but it's worth a look.

if uve watched jones previous fights, not only is he an exciting fighter but a veryy athletic 200 pounder. He in unpredicatable and has knockout power in his hands, he showed hes no slouch on the ground in his last fight and im sure has improved his wrestling/jiu jitsu for this fight. Hamil is a solid fighter, but only way i see him winning is through a domination of the ground game, aka smothering jones.

Jones is a natural athlete, quick on his feet such great awareness and knowledge, He adjusts so well in the clutch.

Just read he has longest reach in ufc history. Seems hard to beleive since he is only 6'4 and you got guys near 7 foot out there.

the fact that jones is proud of being a snitch and loves the twighlight series will be factored into how I handicap this fight

Jones easy. Matt's not the better fighter. As someone stated Jones could have wrestled Div 1 if not for the grades. Training with Jackson will only make him a better fighter.
