Benji Radach will not face off against Robbie Lawler in a featured middleweight bout at Strikeforce:Evolution on Dec. 19 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif.

Radach’s agent, Ken Pavia, said the fighter still hasn’t been medically cleared to begin training again following surgery on his right hand last April. Radach, 30, broke his hand in multiple places during his third-round loss to Scott Smith at Strikeforce “Shamrock vs. Diaz” on April 11. Pavia said Radach would be cleared “soon” to resume training, but didn’t give a specific timeline.

Lawler is still expected to compete on Dec. 19. Monte Cox, Lawler’s manager, said the promotion has not confirmed a new opponent for the heavy-handed fighter yet.

Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker told Sherdog.com Monday that Lawler’s adversary would be announced in the next couple of days.

American Kickboxing Academy standout Trevor Prangley is expected to face Robbie Lawler at Strikeforce: Evolution on Dec. 19 in San Jose, Calif.

Multiple MMAWeekly.com sources indicated the bout was all but signed. One source said Prangley, 37, is awaiting a bout agreement and is expected to sign as soon as Monday afternoon.

I can't wait to see the odds on all of these fights. It seems like some of these are really easy picks. Cung Le and King Mo will both win easily.

Linland gets KOed for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He's older now, he's been Knocked into lalaland, stiff so many times that it's getting easier to go there.

Lindland has only been KOd once in the last 5 years, and Jacare has never KOd anybody.

lindland would have had fedor down in :15 seconds if Fedor had not grab the ropes, 4 times. Definitely some MJ treatment.

So you don't want to bet on someone because they got caught by Vitor Belfort??? I know it was a vicious knockout but I think it was just one of those hits where it caught him in the direct spot that just makes a person look like a fool for 5 minutes.

I would stay away from this fight. Jacare has average stand up at best and I definitely don't see him submitting Lindland. So if Lindland can somehow keep Jacare on his back I think he will take the fight. If not than Jacare will squeak out a decision.

Wait, I think I just talked myself into placing a bet on Lindland. He very well may get knocked out again in his career, but it wont be by Jacare.

i just think he's the better fighter and at + money (+113 @ PIN) i think its a good play. Thomson took him down at will in the last fight and i think Melendez will be able to keep him off him now and put some hands on him

Gilbert has had a couple of fights since then. I feel like he is more hungry also. I am going to have to watch their first fight over again and see because there could be some really good value in either one of these guys.
