Thats good that the fight is at 2PM PST, because Im going out tonight and wouldnt be able to catch it on a later start.

I just hope Klitschko can make a fight out of this.

He beat him before, but CB is highly motivated in this one. He has been vocal about Don King holding him down and accusing King of trying to ruin his career, because his marketability is obviously low with his defensive boxing style for heavyweights. Just think he can be too slick and catch Wlad with a good shot, since Wlad's chin rivals Zab's in the boxing world. Manny did some good work with Wlad in his fight against Sam Pete (made some $$$ on that one), but I was nervous as shit with Wlad's form, because I kept feeling if S. Peter had any clue how to box and land a sharp combo, Wlad might have fallen. Think I will just sit back and watch this one, just woke up and not enough time to sift through articles and the boxing boards to find last minute info.

I passed on all bets on this fight. Just want to see a good fight, and looking to see if Klitschko can go into late rounds without running out of gas.

Round 1 to Byrd, imo (I'm watching this on mute as I can't stand Lampley and Merchant). Wlad landed some jabs, Byrd landed some body shots.

Round 2 to Wlad. A much more decisive round.

19-19 after two for me.

Wlad dictating with his jab. Byrd getting in some shots to the body, but too few and only one at a time. Wlad's leaning on him seems to be wearing down Byrd, big down the stretch of the round for Wlad.

Round 5. Wlad knocks Byrd down and totally dominates him. I'm making it a 10-7 on my card.

I have never seen Byrd so poorly. It's like he is just trying to get Wlad to punch himself out of the match, but now he's been badly beaten for the first half of the fight and unlikely he will have much juice left to hurt Wlad even with his weak chin.

Wlad looked quick against Byrd. That's nuts. Manny has worked Wlad well; very impressive performance tonight for the big man.

I never seen Wlad that sharp in a fight. He made Bryd look like Sheit big time.

The result was a foregone conclusion. Total mismatch with the styles of the fighters. Anyone who saw their last fight should have seen this coming.

I read an interview of the fighters and just reading Byrd's I knew he was in trouble. When asked if he would try to test Klitschko's chin, he said "No, because then he will test mine." Klitschko's the only guy out there that Byrd really doesn't have a chance against. I realize I'm writing this after the fact, but I really thought it should have been -700.

Byrd is a defensive fighter and Klitschko is a very gifted offensive fighter. If Byrd stands back and plays defense, Wlad will pick him apart. But Byrd can't come in because he's too small and has no punch. Did you see the way Wlad pushed him around? Wlad would slap down Byrd's gloves, reach out and put his glove on Byrd's face and hold him back, push him all over the ring. There was nothing Byrd could do and he's lucky his face was a mask of blood and the ref stopped the fight or he could have been hurt very badly.

There's no one in the heavyweight division except for Brewster who can challenge Wlad at this point. Look at the other champions... none of them have a chance against him. Brewster's got a shot, but I believe Wlad will be the unified heavyweight champion. A quick knock-out artist like a young Tyson would give him fits and probably lay him on his ass, but there is no one like that out there right now.
