Episode 2 had a pretty lame fight between Wes Shivers and James McSweeney. However, the moment everyone has been waiting for is now quickly approaching. Episode 3 will pit Kimbo Slice against Roy Nelson. I can't wait. I'm praying that Kimbo's beard will give him the strength to endure and finish off Big Country.

#2Seriously rooting for Kimbo here as well. As soon as they did the fight announcement at the end of the show, I knew it was Kimbo time. Gonna be the most-watched TUF show ever.
That fight last night was hilarious. Then ref Yamaguchi says "Great fight guys." HUH?Comment -

#3Well I had picked Big Country to win the whole show as I am a big fan of the guy, but a couple things got me worried. They are promoting him as not taking it seriously/not coachable - I doubt they would do this if he destroys Kimbo as that would be a big hit to Kimbo's marketablility (too big of a word for this early in the morning, I know). So either Kimbo is gunna put up a good fight but lose, or he will pull off the MASSIVE upset and take out Big Country. If Big Country was smart he would end this fight in a matter of minutes by taking Kimbo down and using his sick ground game but I don't see that happening. That's my guess at least...we will see next week!Comment -

#4i don't know how Wes didnt win that first round, I didn't think getting punched in the face won you rounds.. But, im glad it ended that fight was horrible. James supposedly has 100 kickboxing fights or something, where is the cardio?
I think kimbo will be sleeping on spiketv next week.Comment -

#8Over the past several months...Kimbo has won me over...the guy is humble, still acknowledges that he has a lot to learn...
I'm rooting for Kimbo here...
But I don't see him getting passed Roy Nelson.
Good luck Kimbo.Comment -

#9I can see it now. Randy "The Natural" Couture vs. Wes "Natural Gas" Shivers. Wes was so tired he could barely stand. I did think he did enough to win the fight considering he had more takedowns, but that was pretty damn funny.
From what I've seen of Kimbo, he will gas too. If he doesn't take out Nelson in the first half of the first round he won't win.Comment -

#10Yes Bread you were. That was a horrible display for MMA. Wes was gassed after 2 minutes of the first round and James was no better. Both guys were hunched over with their hands on their knees by the end of the first round. It was so pathetic, so hard to watch lol.Comment -

#11Pathetic sums up last night's TUF fight. I couldn't believe how fast Wes exhausted himself. To make the fight even worse, McSweeney's cardio was no better! Come onnnnnnn! From McSweeney's perspective, when your opponent is THAT tired and can barely stand, and your coach is yelling at you telling you to finish the fight, END THE FIGHT! I felt embarassed for both coaches and Dana White. I mean, this is the type of talent that can get you onto the show? It's so sad.Comment -

#15O jeez naysayers calm down. Both Wednesday's free event and UFC 103 were chocked with some exciting fights. So what two bums are on the reality show and put on a horrible fight. They're not in the UFC.
Dana White will see to it that neither one is ever on an actual UFC card. Fear not.Comment -

#16Although filming for "The Ultimate Fighter" is complete -- except for the finale to be aired live in December, with the winner earning a six-figure contract and membership in the UFC -- White told The Times that whether Slice wins or loses during the competition, he'll be in the UFC.
"Are you going to see Kimbo Slice fight again in the UFC? Yes," White said.
Asked if that was a decision based on the first episode's ratings, White said: "No, never. The ratings do not influence our decision. The guy can either fight or not."
White said one of the strongest endorsements he received about Slice's skill in the octagon came from former light-heavyweight champion Rashad Evans, who's a coach in the show and told White he wants to continue working with Slice at his elite MMA training compound directed by respected trainer Greg Jackson in New Mexico.Comment -

#20It should be an interesting fight. I'm looking for Kimbo to win for a couple of reasons. First, Nelsons got a seriously big head, and he's convinced that he's just gonna walk in there and slap kimbo around like a bitch. He's already looking past this fight to his next one, which is a great way to get yourself knocked the fukk out. Second is that Spike has been shoving the fact that Kimbo is on the show down everyones throat. Seems to me they wouldn't make that big a deal out of it if he falls out in the third week...granted, he could always get called back in if someone get's hurt, but there's no guarantee that'll happen.Comment -

#21On paper, Roy Nelson wins this fight easily...
he gets the take down, works for a submission and most likely get it. Roy Nelson was able to secure Arlovski on the mat for several minutes...I'm sure he can do the same to Kimbo.
But then again...I'm rooting for Kimbo...the underdog...hopefully he lands that overhand right.Comment -

#34I'd have to disagree with you Rob - he actually showed decent takedown defense for most of the first round. He got caught throwing a knee when he got taken down in the second round. Plus Roy has very good takedowns and outweighed him by 35lbs. Your right, he does have no ground game whatsoever.Comment -
