Interesting to see as soon as they strip Cung Le of his belt for being inactive, they announce he's fighting Scott Smith in December. Shileds made refernce to this in his post fight interview. After watching the Shields/Miller fight you can see that Shield would have no interest in standing with Le, so i don't see Le wanting this fight anytime soon.

Strikeforce has been protecting Le forever, only putting him up against guys who will stand. No different here. The guy goes to do "movies", gives up his belt, and less than a month or two later is back to fight against a guy who has no interest going to the ground. Le would get destroyed but anyone with any sort of ground game., let alone Shields.
